Follow the green arrows, NOT the red arrows, to find the gas pumps.

Likes: + The staff help keep the congest traffic flow organized. + Numerous pumps. Non-likes: - Trying to reach the gas station your first time can be tricky. I prepared a map (attached screenshot) to help point out the ways in (green arrows) and the ways that don't lead in (red arrows). Hope you won't get lost. - I wish they built another entrance/exit into the gas station, or designed the layout better so traffic wouldn't be so congested.

I've never been to a Costco gasoline that has their own traffic control system, but this was highly efficient and lowered the amount of chaos caused by people looking for the "best" pump. This is connected to a particularly large and newer Costco complete with their own employee parking.

Islands and Pumps

After dropping our son and daughter-in-law at John Wayne Airport, I wanted to fill up at the nearest Costco, and this was it. What a pleasant surprise -- well-organized entry queue to the pumps, four islands of four pumps each side (32 total), and no wait on a Saturday morning! Oh ... and the price for Regular was $3.899 ... lowest I've seen in years.

They open at 5:30 am Monday through Friday. 6am on the weekend. Avoid the 8am rush and also the rush 15 minutes before and after they open. Weekends are busy from 2-5:30 ish. Weekday nights could also get busy. They close at 9:30 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday at 8pm Sunday at 7:30pm. Closed 7 major holidays. Honk the horn for assistance. X3 quick taps!

I love coming to this gas station. If this is not open then at least I can go to the one in Park Ave. This one has 4 lanes. And 4 on each side. It can get busy on certain days but when it does there is someone there for traffic etc. the or ice is reasonable.

This past weekend I did the Arthritis 5K Walk at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. I ended up going to The Marketplace in Irvine afterwards to do some shoe shopping (I won a $120 gift certificate for Road Runner Sports through a raffle). Of course, after hanging out there for about 4 hours LOL, I was ready to head home. My gas tank was 1/4th tank full... it was time to fill her up! Found Costco Gas in Tustin just a few minutes away... perfect! I headed over here. I didn't know which way to get to the gas line. Since it was my 1st time here, it was an exploration that's for sure. There were signs, but I didn't find them too helpful. Anyway, I got lined up and when I looked up, there were 4 pumps per side times 8 sides... let's do the math... that's 32 pumps! It's great that there are a lot more pumps, but I find it very tight between the aisles AND the exit is even tighter AND the exit is too close to the entrance. They definitely could have allocated more space for this gas station. Just imagine cars coming in from the main street and cars exiting the gas station at the same vicinity. There was an attendant monitoring the traffic... it was unreal! Honestly, more pumps isn't going to get customers in and out faster if the entry and exit do not have the space to allow fluid flow of traffic... just poor design altogether IMHO. They also have a tracking system on which pumps are occupied and which ones are available which is helpful. However, the space between each pump is very small so even if pump is freed up, customer may not be able to use it if they can't get into it. Yeah, the last thing we need to do is to parallel park into a pump at Costco Gas... I'm sure it has been done before LOL. Happy Pumping!

Room for 32 cars

The latest and greatest gas station does not have typical long Costco lines yet, but I'm sure that will change soon enough. With four rows of four stations each (X2), there is room here for 32 cars to get gas. This is a welcome addition to the area and should help reduce the gas traffic at other local Costco gas stations. With multiple entrances and a line that starts on the side of the gas station, hopefully this will not impact other parts of the parking lot.

Great value, great service. Worth the value if you have the time to spare, but expect to wait and the lines can get long.

Unfortunately, you'll waste 1 gallon of gas, trying to figure out where the entrance is, definitely not clearly marked!

I checked on other review platforms and many other people have reported experiencing the same issue, unfortunately... Super sad since that means this location is losing a lot of potential revenue. Save yourself some time and visit a different Chevron instead!

So it was the DAY before Thanksgiving a few years ago, which also happened to be the DAY before I…read moregot paint and the DAY AFTER I paid our rent when my husband and I ran out of cigarettes. Lol. I said, "You know what? I have EXACTLY enough money in my account to buy a pack of cigarettes! I'll be right back!" And I ran across the street. They had JUST hired this kid, Angelo, and for SOME reason, they thought it would be a GREAT idea to leave him running the place ALONE for the night on his FIRST week working!!! So anyway, I went in, asked him for my pack of cigarettes, he rang it up, and I paid for it. I went to go get the cigarettes when he said, "It didn't go through." I looked on my phone and showed him my bank account, that it said, "Purchase at Chevron" at our location on that date at the EXACT minute! He said, "Well it didn't go through on my end." I said, "It HAD to have! Look! It charged my account!" And he said, "No, it didn't." I said, "Ok, can you please call you manager, or someone else who has worked here longer than a week and ask them because I KNOW it went through. It charged my account already, so I already paid for it! You owe me a pack of cigarettes! That was LITERALLY ALL the money that I had in my account!" He said, "No, I'm not calling my manager. It's not MY fault you can't afford them." WHAT?!?! He OBVIOUSLY just didn't want to call them because it was his VERY first night running the store alone and he didn't want to look like an idiot, not knowing how to do something. So I called my husband and told him what was going on and he came over and started getting REALLY pissed. As was I, he could have VERY easily Solved this situation by calling his manager real quick. But god forbid he look dumb. So no no no! He wasn't going to be a mature adult and do that! Absolutely not! So he said, "You guys need to leave or I'm calling the police." Lol!!!! I said, "YOU stole from ME!!! I should call the police on YOU!" So that's EXACTLY what I did! Of COURSE they were SUPER busy that night though, so it took them FOREVER to get there. It was late and we had our daughter with us, so I was holding her, rocking her to sleep outside, waiting for the police to get there, when these two kind men came up and asked if we were ok. We explained what happen and that we were just waiting for the police to show up. They walked inside and asked the kid to sell them the pack of cigarettes that we were trying to buy. Then they came out and handed us the cigarettes. They were like, "Here! Happy Thanksgiving!" I was like, "Oh my god! Are you sure?!?! Let me pay you back tomorrow after I get paid! Please!" And they were like, "No! Take it! Happy Holidays!" And left. It was the nicest thing! So we went home after that and I called the manager of Chevron the next day to report Angelo. They told me to come over and they would give us a pack of cigarettes to make it even. I was soooo upset with the way this kid handled the situation though. And then they didn't even reprimand him at all. To this day, every time I go in there, he's rude as hell to me! If I need change back, I'll put my hand out and he throws the change on the counter in front of me. EVERY FREAKIN TIME! THEN the SECOND negative experience we had was when my husband was over there the other day and he had a $2.50 coupon from Marlboro that the guy didn't put in correctly, so my husband did the math in his head and knew the guy still owed him $2.50. So he asked the guy for his receipt and the guy REFUSED to give him his receipt. My husband was like, "No dude, I NEED my receipt!" And then my husband pulled out his cell phone to start recording and the guy then tells him, "If you put the phone away, we can make a deal!" My husband was like, "What?!?!" And he puts his phone down, then the guy pulls out a TON of cash out of his pocket (as if he'd been pocketing the cash all night long) and pulls out a $5 bill and hands it to my husband. He was like, "What the hell? Okayyyyy....?" And just left... soooo confused as to what just occurred. lol. He called me telling me what just happened and then was like, "Why would he DO that???" I was like, "I have NO idea!" Lol. The ONLY person that I liked was James. But he was either let go or quit a while back ago. :/
