The gas prices are low compared to other gas stations; you can check Costco's website for current gas prices at that location. It's a little difficult to get to it from Bryan but much easier from El Camino Real side. Impressive four pumps on each side. The tight exit is tricky but at least they have a stop for it which causes some chaos for all the cars who just filled up and also for the cars funneling from the El Camino Real entrance. This Costco gas station is one of the newer ones in the area. Sitting at one of the oldest Costco locations, the OG, off El Camino Real, I think this location is one of the better to get gas. Each aisle has four pumps. There's a total of 16 pumps I'm not mistaken. Everything about Costco is very thoughtful and for the people. The only issue with this location is the exit. Other than that, the price is always right and the line is pretty short. Highly recommended. read more

This review is for the gas station only. My wife and I were trying to find a quick (and cheap) place to fill up and completely forgot that this Costco existed & had a station. Seems like everyone else did too because even though it was a Saturday afternoon, there was no one there. I think there was maybe a dozen cars there spread out over all their pumps. We got in and out faster than we ever have at a Costco gas station. We were shocked! A few weeks later, we tested it out again. While there were more people this time, we still didn't have to wait one bit. We got there just as someone was pulling out and we grabbed a pump. Not a single car waiting in line for availability. It was amazing! So it looks like we found a hidden gem. I hope this review doesn't lead to an increase in popularity though because we see ourselves coming to this station a whole lot more in the future. read more

I forgot my wallet and was at the gym early around 7:55 - 8 AM unfortunately the wholesale store can't help me with a temp barcode as they haven't opened yet, so I stopped at the small office in the corner of the gas station entrance to see if I can get gas since I'm already here. the dude with long hair was ridiculous first do you have the Costco app, and no I don't but I open my Citi app and show him I have card and membership, he then says download the app for future so we can help you, made a comment about me parking next to the office that I can be blocking the traffic, when a semi truck can pass through and was early where few cars where on site anyways! He helped me at the end but man I will rather go to another gas station in the future if I forgot my wallet. Poor customer service and terrible attitude! read more

I've seen this gas station from opening to now and it's honestly made some minor improvements that make the experience a whole lot easier for everyone. For example, they added stop signs and made it much easier to distinguish the turning lane to go into the Costco gas line vs just trying to get through to the parking lot to park for the main Costco warehouse. On weekends, I've seen an attendant direct traffic to avoid having major clogs in the intersection. In general, it's very very tough to get into this location due to the proximity to the street intersection but at least Costco has been taking some steps to make it easier for everyone. Price-wise, it seems the cost of the gas has always been aligned with nearby gas stations and so I prefer to pump here for the convenience of shopping at Costco and then grabbing gas. It's also nice that they updated their pump stations to accept the digital ID card so that I can just scan a QR and pay for everything through the app instead of having to bring my physical Costco card. All in all, happy to see this location open since it was much needed due to the Technology Dr and Park Ave Costco gas locations getting super jammed up. read more

I know that the layout of this Costco Gasoline is not the best to get in and out of when it gets busy, but I still love this one! I come early in the morning. Not opening times early, but between 7-8 am any given day of the week, and there are never any lines or trouble getting in and out. I love coming early for that reason as I really dislike waiting in line and seeing so many people. The gas prices at this location seem to always be cheaper compared to the Irvine Costco Gasoline located off of Technology Drive. I've never had to ask an attendant for help, but they seem to be responsive to anyone I've seen ask for help. This is not unique to this Costco Gasoline, but I wish they would post when they do maintenance on their website. There have been so many times I've come here or other locations where they were closed due to routine maintenance. They don't have rotisserie chickens (only location I've been to without them). It is difficult to access the gas station from the warehouse parking lot. The aisles are narrow and it seems unclean. There's no one working at the station! I couldn't get gas with my card since it's an international version. At other stations, there are employees to help bypass the issue. However, this one, we get no help. How disappointing. Hope they will start assigning people there to assist in the future. This past weekend I did the Arthritis 5K Walk at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. I ended up going to The Marketplace in Irvine afterwards to do some shoe shopping (I won a $120 gift certificate for Road Runner Sports through a raffle). Of course, after hanging out there for about 4 hours LOL, I was ready to head home. My gas tank was 1/4th tank full... it was time to fill her up! Found Costco Gas in Tustin just a few minutes away... perfect! I headed over here. I didn't know which way to get to the gas line. Since it was my 1st time here, it was an exploration that's for sure. There were signs, but I didn't find them too helpful. Anyway, I got lined up and when I looked up, there were 4 pumps per side times 8 sides... let's do the math... that's 32 pumps! It's great that there are a lot more pumps, but I find it very tight between the aisles AND the exit is even tighter AND the exit is too close to the entrance. They definitely could have allocated more space for this gas station. Just imagine cars coming in from the main street and cars exiting the gas station at the same vicinity. There was an attendant monitoring the traffic... it was unreal! Honestly, more pumps isn't going to get customers in and out faster if the entry and exit do not have the space to allow fluid flow of traffic... just poor design altogether IMHO. They also have a tracking system on which pumps are occupied and which ones are available which is helpful. However, the space between each pump is very small so even if pump is freed up, customer may not be able to use it if they can't get into it. Yeah, the last thing we need to do is to parallel park into a pump at Costco Gas... I'm sure it has been done before LOL. Happy Pumping! read more

The latest and greatest gas station does not have typical long Costco lines yet, but I'm sure that will change soon enough. With four rows of four stations each (X2), there is room here for 32 cars to get gas. This is a welcome addition to the area and should help reduce the gas traffic at other local Costco gas stations. With multiple entrances and a line that starts on the side of the gas station, hopefully this will not impact other parts of the parking lot. read more

If there hasn't been an accident in this parking lot yet, there will be very soon. The way to get into the fuel area is convoluted, and not sign posted very well. There are two small signs saying "fuel facility"... one is at the back of the parking lot when you're practically already IN the fuel facility. In order to enter, you have to cross a steady stream of traffic of cars driving into Costco. The cars entering have the right of way.. so you (going to fuel facility) have to scoot across. A bit like frogger. Really scary. When exiting the fuel area, all of the pumps flow into one lane, and you have to turn left to exit their area. All of the cars try to fight and get in front of each other. Since the fuel was added here as an afterthought, perhaps that's the reason for the horrible configuration. Great prices. Overall, this Costco gas location is pretty good. Pros - the lines were flowing, especially nice on a Saturday afternoon. Cons - getting to the entrance of the lines and exiting once after you're done. They seem to merge, which really takes up most of the "line-time". Exiting doesn't seem to have good strategy to flow easily, but that's barely minor. You still get that Costco-priced gas. read more

This is the nearest Costco to me with a gas station but it feels like it's a lot farther than it actually is for some reason. Also, I'm not a fan of the weird left turn lane on the opposing traffic side to get into this gas station (it's not in the same parking lot as the Costco it's kind of across the road). I went at noon on a Thursday and the lines were 3 cars deep but definitely not as crazy as the other Costco gas stations that are in the same parking lot as the store. Great value, great service. Worth the value if you have the time to spare, but expect to wait and the lines can get long.

Good: -Crap ton of stations= 32 (Tustin really loves Costco, 2 within 5 or so miles of each other) -Brand new shiny pumps -Conveniently located right off the 5 fwy Bad: -Horribly designed. Over time, this will create traffic on site and spill out onto Camino Real Overall like but don't like that they built this gas station here. It is not designed well for traffic congestion. The lines aren't long but there is already a problem with the same entrance for cars entering And exiting. Costco keeps hiring the same ding dong engineers that creates a cluster F of a gas station. But alas, they definitely will have me going weekly. read more

The lines for the Costco gas stations have dropped since the price of gas has been coming down, which I don't fully understand because it is still the cheapest 'Top Tier" gas around (additives to keep the engine running properly). The opening here at the 'small' Tustin Costco will hopefully also alleviate some of the traffic at the District. The entrance is a little wonky, with the traffic exiting the station having to cross the path of the cars headed it, not a great layout, but once passed that, there are plenty of pumps and as with all the other stations, one tap with your Costco credit card to ID yourself and pay for the gas. read more

My only complaint is getting out of line after gassing up, there is a stop sign and it is difficult to turn left due to the number of folks trying to leave the gas line and get out. I googled Costco Gas and this gas station showed up. When I looked at the map, it was a parking lot. I drove somewhere else instead. I didn't trust Google. Too bad for me, this would have been closer. Anyway, the other Costco Gas was super busy with super long lines. I was just gonna go home but missed my turns so many times that I ended up at this Costco Gas. Silly me, it was a brand new station. Don't ever doubt Google! There were lines but not long at all. There were monitors that will turn green once the station is empty. I immediately got into an empty station, pumped gas, and off I went. The price was at least 40 cents less than any other gas station around the area. I love Costco Gasoline because we have it close to our house and I'm just so used to it. I actually went to another gas station but the card reader wasn't working and I was just too lazy to walk to the cashier. read more
