I was able to get a convenient appointment relatively quickly. There are 3 different plan options as well as a one-time visit option for $125, which is optimal if you're not planning to need continuous hearing services. Dr. Robinson was approachable, a bit quick, but very clear. Frankly, I learned more from her in 20 minutes than I had in the multiple appointments I've had with another practitioner in terms of devices and how the Signia brand works (e.g., many devices can auto-calibrate after a couple of days). She was quickly able to help me out plus give me much-needed background around hearing loss and hearing assistance. While I hope not to need this service again, if I do, I would definitely come back here if I needed to.

She scheduled my MRI for me and when she got the results went over in detail all the issues. The most important thing is she sat down eye level with me, took her time to explain my results, used empathy skills and recommended next steps. Her assistant was very pleasant and made me feel at ease. The reception folks are pleasant and smile when you walk in. This office goes above and beyond what you see in most medical offices. Very professional the way health care used to be.

When I rescheduled, the next available appointment was more than two months away, possibly closer to three months. I waited all that time because my son has been having severe ear problems and needed to be seen. When I finally arrived for the rescheduled appointment, the front desk told me it had been canceled. I never received a phone call, voicemail, text message, or letter notifying me of the cancellation. When I later called the office, I was told that my chart showed they had called me. I explained that someone may have documented that a call was made, but I never actually received one. I regularly check my call log, return missed calls, and listen to my voicemail, so I would have known if someone had contacted me. To make matters worse, the front desk refused to reschedule my son's appointment in person and told me I had to call instead. After I called, I was informed that they were booked three months out and that after September they would no longer accept my insurance. I don't understand why the front desk couldn't have told me that while I was there. Now I have to go back to my son's primary care doctor to get another referral to a different specialist, causing even more delays in getting him the care he urgently needs for his severe ear problems. Overall, this experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing. Poor communication and a lack of concern for patients' time and medical needs made an already stressful situation much worse. I cannot recommend this office based on how our situation was handled

Look at his bio. Talk bout an overachiever! The single best experience I've ever had with a healthcare professional, and I was born in the 50's, so I've seen a few. His skill level and ability to not only do what he does ridiculously well, but also articulate what's going on to his patients completely so we understand everything clearly, is outstanding. #1 in bedside manner. He should train other doctors in bedside manner. And the fact that he (like myself) is a serious musician just adds a whole layer to his understanding of sound and hearing. Super nice guy too, great attitude. And to those of you potential (or actual) bigots, looking at his picture and name and thinking "Oh no, he's Indian", yeah, so what? He's 100% as American as I am, and speaks better English than I do. Not exaggerating. And a genius, so get over it. Oh, and did I happen to mention I went totally deaf in one ear, and he was able to completely restore my hearing back to normal? Yeah, that's a pretty big deal. It changed my life, and I'm VERY thankful for that, if you didn't notice. I can't recommend him enough.

I took my dad in to the Sacrament Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic at Exposition. There's a lot of…read moremedial offices in the same location and is seemingly pretty busy, so parking might be hard to find. If you have a handicap placard, remember to bring it. You definitely will need it here. My dad was assigned to Dr. Hasday. They took him to do a hearing test and that was not too bad. They got him in to do that and he even got to see Dr. Hasday the same day. The nurse/medical assistants were nice and helpful. We ran into some issues with the medical insurance needing more information, but the office got that info over to the insurance company as soon as they figured they wanted it. I talked to them and they did everything right, and quickly too. We got the hearing aids approved. We did not get the hearing aids through this office as they only do the medical part - The hearing aids had to be retrieved from a hearing aid dispensary. Dr. Hasday and his office was great. If anybody suggests you might need sinus surgery (or fix a previous surgery) see whoever you like…read more BUT do yourself a favor and at a minimum make sure you also see Dr. Vaughan before you decide who you want to have messing about with your sinusitis. This surgeon is nothing short of amazing. A different Sacramento sinus surgeon performed sinus surgery on me about 4 years ago and did not do a good job. (This was not some unknown surgeon -- he's a busy Sacramento surgeon.) After resigning myself to believe I would be stuck with chronic sinus problems for the rest of my life, I complained to my allergist's PA. She suggested I go meet with Dr. Vaughan. I also spoke with the allergist and he echoed her recommendation. They both told me that Dr. Vaughan has a reputation for fixing problems caused by other surgeons' shortcomings. I was reluctant to have another surgery but went to go discuss my problems with Dr. Vaughan nonetheless. He took the time to fully explain to me the shortcomings of the last procedure, what he could do, etc. I delayed having a follow up surgery for over a year, but finally thought I should see if Dr. Vaughan really could make a difference. I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. Dr. Vaughan did an absolutely amazing job -- it's been 11 months since my surgery and I haven't had any sinus problems since then. I can't stress enough that I thought I would be cursed with sinus problems the rest of my life and had resigned myself to it. Dr. Vaughan made a drastic improvement in my quality of life and I am forever grateful. Dr. Vaughan rotates offices, but I would encourage anyone to grab an appointment with him when he's at his Sacramento office (it was not at all difficult to schedule an appointment with him) or go visit him at one of his other offices if you can't wait. Also, don't be surprised if you get a call(s) from Dr. Vaughan checking up on you -- he's so genuinely interested that he may call you himself. Beyond being a great surgeon and very personable/cheerful. From the very beginning, he was incredibly patient, attentive, and thoughtful. He truly listens to his patients and takes the time to address every concern without ever making you feel rushed or pressured into a decision. He made sure I fully understood the recommendations and felt completely comfortable with the procedure before moving forward. Now, two years post-op, I am beyond happy with my results. Functionally, the improvement has been life-changing -- I can breathe so much better through my nose, something that used to be a daily struggle. Aesthetically, the outcome looks completely natural.
