The exams are always very thorough, the consultations are honest and clear, the service level from initial greeting to walking out with your perfectly adjusted new glasses is top notch. I had them since May 2025 AND they are so muddled that I have to buy dollar store glasses to see clearly. The anti-reflective coating is so worn you can see the glare in my pictures. This is the 2nd pair of clear lenses that failed within 6 months. Nice enough, they're replacing these with a new pair. I'm leery because the rate these demolish are great. What are they using? I have glasses from America's Best that don't degrade like Eye Glass World does. I'm going to get this free pair wear them, and buy NEW glasses at America's Best after the start of the new year. In 6 months I will compare the lenses. Based on past experience I'm pretty sure America's Best will remain the better lens. AVOID Eyeglass World. I believe I'm getting the free pair in order to keep my business. When you look at the pictures you will see foggy, muddled lenses that look scratched but actually the coating used has rubbed in a way that it looks like the coating was applied with very little diligence on the craftsmanship part.

They are Kawasaki's with cable temples. At 65, I'm a super active guy, and the cable temples keep them from moving on/off my face when I am active. I am also EXTREMELY demanding and an ADHD perfectionist. Did not bother Jodie one bit; she was super confident in her ability to excel; especially with me being a remote customer out of the DFW area some 1,228 miles east of her office. I have travelled out to Utah on occasion, but never been able to stop by and meet her in person to thank her for her kindness & courtesy. By now, I've received about a dozen pairs of glasses from her with absolutely ZERO (0) issues. Does not seem like much, but the investment over the years has likely been north of $9K. Not cheap, but great value in my opinion. Quality is not a budget item. Plus, these always look like jewelry. They are just gorgeous. Can't thank Jodie enough. One day, I will stop by and surprise her... She is all about the efficient delivery of GREAT service to the customer. Feels more like a close friendship more so than a 'business transaction. She even sped up her response to get the glasses fixed before a long 3-day weekend, which would have delayed getting to them even further. So, I'm very impressed with Jodie and her team. And she even went above and beyond to tighten up the hinges and replace my old temple tips with new ones, so the glasses came back looking like new, in a new case and cleaning cloth. Dr. Michael Conklin is always checking our eyes very carefully and thoroughly to make sure we have no serious issues. He will not recommend expensive surgery if we don't need it now. Staffs are super friendly and kind. Make sure we get the best benefit with insurance and what we like when we look for frames. Having had good eyes for most of the 34 years of my life, all I had previously had to deal with at the opticians was to get my regular health check, have them say I was tip-top, and to see them again the next year. However In 2011 I had an instance of Iritis (something I don't recommend to anyone - ouch), and since then my left eye has had a slight stigmatism. Dr. Conklin has attended to my last three eye exams, is very pleasant in his demeanour, and will sit and chat with you about any issues, put your mind at ease if you're worried about failing an eye exam miserably, and will explain all the options or requirements that may help you enjoy your eyes a little more than what god has given you ;) Spending 10 hours + a day on a computer of some kind doesn't help my eyes at all, and this time around I took the opportunity to get some "computer glasses" that will fast become my firm campion as I ride out the days in front of my beloved electronic products. As I said, these are my first pair of glasses, and I am thankful that Brian and Liz were on hand to help me not only a) find the right lenses for me, but also b) "hum, ha, ooh and ah!" while I tried on a number of frames. The best part about having some more opinions on the last part is that you try on things you might not usually pick, and I for one am very happy with the not so classic Amy style that I brought home with me. I went to the ophthalmologist my retired Dr. suggested and what a surprise, the prescription had not changed. It also cost me $75 for the lens, not $600.

When I went in initially, they inadvertently remade my closeup glasses instead of new distance glasses. The remake was some bizarre trifocal prism combination. I tried those for a week and brought them back, stating "I just want new distance glasses". The third remake is STILL wrong. Three strikes and you're out, folks. I will take the new frames to Target or Walmart and see if I fare any better.
