    The best hot dog ever

Of course it was packed but it was moving. Sales sales, so many things to choose from. And yeah the hot dog was the point of coming which was awesome! And the tiny pizza! Yes! I'll be back

Imagine my excitement when I heard that Costco was finally coming to Savannah! I just about threw my money at the Executive Membership option because I wanted all the perks! Finally, the Costco in Pooler, GA opened and I couldn't wait to get my hands on all the goodies it had to offer. At this point, I was like, "Sam's Club-WHO?!" As soon as Costco opens, I'm canceling my membership there." Have I cancelled it? Well... No. I haven't and I don't plan to. Here's why... A little Backstory: I was a member of Costco for many years when I lived in NYC. I would go there any get everything from Soup to Nuts there. I loved the fact that I could buy my favorite brands in bulk. So imagine my surprise when I get there and am visually accosted by KIRKLAND brand items. I am not a Kirkland fan and never have been. so, I was very disappointed to see that there were barely any name brand items but they had been replaced with the KIRKLAND brand. Now, I'm by no means bourgeois or stuck up but when it comes to certain items like cheese, I want my name brands. Not Kirkland. Trash bags, fine... its just trash. But, I don't want my dog eating Kirkland brand food. The variety there is VERY limited when it comes to name brands and this was a huge turn off. On the brighter side, their fresh foods and bakery cannot be matched. The cakes are always fresh and the to-go, baked at home meals are amazing! The workers are very helpful and the checkout situation is very swift and organized. The workers really work well together and morale seems very good among the staff. Another reason why I couldn't wait to have my Costco experience was to return to the Food Court for my tradition of having Sausage and Peppers. I was very disappointed to see that it wasn't offered. The menu was very limited due to COVID restrictions but I'm hoping that they return to serving the dishes that we know and love. The location still has not returned to putting photos on cards either which I found strange since they have been open since November of last year and to date, they still aren't able to put our photos on our cards. My food recommendations: You must try the Cinnamon Pull Apart, Chicken Yakisoba Noodles platter, the Italian Sausage w/ Spinach in Wine Sauce, the Stuffed Peppers and my husband's new favorite the Chill! We'll definitely be back, Costco because we want the most from out $100+ membership dues but, I will be holding on to my Sam's Club card because they offer a lot more brand name products than Costco.

Costco is so thoughtful they have a cart path between parking spots.

It really is much better than Sam's club. It's worth a few extra minutes of driving. They have better selection than Sam's club. I also think their brand Kirkland is better quality than members mark. Biggest differences are the staff which are so much more helpful and friendly than Sama club. The other thing is sales. Costco has monthly sales vs hardly ever at Sama club. This is by far a superior option to sans club

Since then I have found the Costco Pooler location to be clean, organized, we'll-lit, and the staff very helpful.

This store in particular is fairly large with a pretty expansive format, but a lot of the merchandising left me confused. For instance, I was looking for lemonade, and I noticed that it is carried in 3 to 4 different locations across the produce juice and deli sections. It made it extremely frustrating trying to figure out whether or not they carried Milo's lemonade, which I eventually discovered they carried every milo's product except the lemonade??? Not really sure what the rationale behind that is given the lemonade is the most popular sku in the brand. Anyway, I digress. The second thing that I find a little challenging with Publix is understanding what the actual deals are standing at shelf. I couldn't really tell what was on sale, what wasn't and what the real values were. I'm assuming this information is probably buried in a sales flyer, which I probably need to pick up the next time. That being said, I found overall service in the store to be decent but even given the number of employees walking around in the store I don't think I've was ever really been greeted or offered help without asking first. Definitely a location and a brand that is going to have to grow on me.

Hi Everyone, What do…read morewe all hate to part with always? Money! Why? Because most of us needed it constantly in our American driven consumer (you & me) economy, daily. Ya know, the more the merrier, lol. What do most of us enjoy receiving? Value! Why? Because some of the time, it is in very short supply. Ergo, the American driven consumer (BtF, or Built to Fail) economy. But where can we consistently find value for less money? Ya know, like giving up less of what we don't want to part with (i.e. money) and more of what many of us enjoy receiving (e.g. value)? Walmart in Pooler GA, that's where. Yes, I realize that some of our experiences with Walmart may not have always been stellar. However, this is a FANTASTIC deal! What? Go on with your bad self! I'm here to tell ya, if you need tires, and want an outstanding installation, and if you are a Walmart + member, free lifetime (the tire, not yours) rotation, and balancing while receiving a very highly rated set of Goodyear Reliant All Season radials (low rolling resistance, quiet, good dry, wet traction, and light snow control, yea that one!) with a 65K mile warranty then Walmart in Pooler, GA be the place. How do I know? This is the tragic part of the this story, tears optional. Our Hybrid Avalon needed a new set of tires. Followed by, only two weeks later, our Prius needing three new tires because our only four year old set of Michelin Defenders which cost $928.00 complete w/tax and installation were starting to dry rot with only 28,000 miles on them and 7/32's tread left on them. Man, that's a lot of tread left! Yea, you're right! This is the same set of Michelin tires which had one tire blow out last April 2025 on Route 17 N outside Charleston, SC when I was driving to an Emergency room for treatment. Yea, and they only had about 23,000 miles on them then. What? Yep! Total cost of seven new tires installed w/lifetime balancing & rotation (Yea, Plus Member) $952.00 including tax. What, no way! Yea way, all day! But how was your customer service experience? Outstanding! Ben who checked me in was respectful. Kelsey who did the work on our Prius was very friendly, efficient and very polite. I have forgotten the Gentleman's name (I apologize), who installed our Avalon ties but he was terrific as well. And hey, I had a new experience at this Walmart in Pooler, GA Automotive department as they actually answer the telephone! Rare, I know, but they do. So let's add this up. 1. Seven Goodyear Reliant tires for about the cost of four Michelin Defender tires. 2. Good, competitive product, rated very close to the same quality based on performance. 3. Good customer service. 4. Installation time the same with appointment. 5. Five percent cash back on all Walmart purchases with Walmart One Pay CC, free lifetime tire rotation and balancing, Paramount + or Peacock subscription for free for a year as a Walmart + member. 5. And if these tires show dry rot in four years (Please Lord no), I certainly will feel a little better having paid very close to half the price! Conclusion: Yea, I'm good to go! And you can be too at Walmart in Pooler, GA, if your Glide Ride, needs tires. Enjoy!

As a big craft beer guy always in search of good local brew, I was overjoyed to see that they have the best beer selection I've ever seen at a gas station. There is about half a wall's worth (I'd say 12-15 feet of head-to-toe cooler space) of craft beer and of that, it's mostly Georgia beers. They also have artisanal ice cream, coffee, and a number of other snack foods that heavily outclass Cheetos and Ding-Dongs (though more traditional snacks and drinks are available as well). The store is spotless and seems to resemble more of a high-end grocery store rather than a run-of-the-mill highway-side gas station convenience store. I've been to 49 states across more than a hundred road trips and I have *never* seen a business like this. My only regret is that I failed to get pictures to share here.

Upscale Convenience Store * Wide range of snacks, groceries, and daily essentials * Known for premium wine & craft beer selection (strong local reputation) * Functions almost like a mini specialty store, not just a convenience shop 2. Food & Beverage Experience Inside the store, you’ll find: * The Coastal Caffé * Coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, quick bites * Ice cream offerings (including premium brands like Leopold’s mentioned by customers) * In some cases, food vendors/restaurants operating inside (like local concepts) This turns the business into a hangout spot, not just a fuel stop.
