Update: while checking out today they smashed my raspberries and spilled raspberry mash and juice all over my groceries. Done with this Costco :( Costco is usually the best but if the dairy product (cheese) doesn't have the barcode they run back to get another one... but I picked out the best cheese and they bring back a loosely wrapped (which means the air in the package is reacting with the cheese and it's going bad) I don't want it! I wanted the item I picked out! And I don't need attitude from the box boy when I look at the cheese and go "no I don't want that one" while pointing at the air bubbles I'm disappointed in you Costco. Couldn't get the item I wanted. Had to wait while I was on a tight schedule (was waiting for the pharmacy then running back to my fiancé with her pain medication, the pharmacy btw is staffed with the best people in CO! Great and helpful staff) then getting attitude for not wanting the dairy product that would expire a week before the item that was just taken from me! Costco is one of my favorite stores and I have held a membership for 15+years while living in 4 different states. This is below par and should not be tolerated. read more

I was excited to see the CARA-CARA oranges were finally here......The first time I had tasted them I had purchased at COSTCO a few years back...they were large, red pulp, seedless and the sweetest oranges I had ever tasted!!........... So, I of course purchased a bag. I was shocked when I cut into the first orange....it was pale orange, dry and pithy and not very sweet!! I should have taken them back but I continued to cut them up and include in lunches and fruit with dinner...my son asked what kind of oranges are these?.....I finally just threw the last 4 or 5 away...what a disappointment....what happened to the original red, juicy CARA-CARA oranges...??? now I am very leery to purchase them from anywhere...!!! read more

The girl making pizzas at the food court is racist. I ordered a whole pizza at the kiosk and waited around like everyone else. When I noticed others that ordered their whole pizzas at the counter after me receive their pizzas before me, I asked her to check on my order. She completely ignored me and refused to acknowledge me. It wasn't until everyone else received their pizzas did I finally receive mine. I tend to be insensitive to racism and have the tendency to give other people the benefit of the doubt, and therefore, didn't ask her for name and intended to dismiss this incident. But when I recounted that she was helpful to the white customers and all the other customers that received their pizzas before me were white, I can't help but put the 2 and 2 together. I'm a long time Costco shopper and feel incredibly upset about this experience. I hope this employee doesn't represent you as a company Costco and take immediate action to ensure that she doesn't. read more

Costco is one of the best retail shopping experience in town. Costco has most everything! Great place to buy steaks, a new TV, local honey, patio furniture or bath products. This store has just about everything you need. I would love to give them five stars, but they tend to run out of some of the regular things we purchase there. There staff is always very helpful. They are all very good about looking for things that I can't seem to find on my own. I don't think I've met anyone that doesn't appreciate Costco and the quality they offer. If you haven't shopped there, you should give it a try. read more

I really want to give this place a better review but Alex- the girl who was putting my purchases in a box for me- could not stop saying how much she hated the almond milk I was buying. I'm sorry my purchase was so upsetting to you that you could not stop letting us know how much you hated it- but I really hated the service you were providing me and wished I could have said that 5 times like you did. Costco has built such reputable brand and I'm so glad to see the business thriving! I watched a documentary on Costco that made me love them even more. The products and service are always of the best quality and such a great deal! They sell everything from cakes to upscale vacations to gasoline. You name it, they got it. Costco knows how to do it. They have the best selection of meats, beautiful floral arrangements, clothing, delicious food, and high quality jewelry. If you sign up for executive membership it costs $120 a year but they give you 2% back on all purchases. What a deal! I'm so obsessed with Costco and the amazing deals. They even sell caskets so when I keel over from too much Costco excitement, please be sure to bury me in a Costco casket, with a Costco floral arrangement, and wipe away your tears with some Costco Kleenex. read more

I went through the checkout today with 25 items and the employee put all of the items into my cart loose. I asked him for boxes and he literally refused! He told me I had too many items and he wouldn't give me a box. He was so rude for absolutely no reason and refused to do his job. If you don't want to box groceries perhaps you should work a different job other than boxing groceries. This guy clearly doesn't need to be interacting with customers. The selection at this location is great, though you'll want to ensure you don't come at peak hours. The store and get quite crowded. I am a huge fan of Costco and bulk shopping. I've been an executive member (where you earn cash back) for many years. The Westminster location is smaller, more friendly and offers better customer service for returns and checking out. Some folks may not know this but Costco actually offers the largest selection of organic produce. If you're into that- this is a worthwhile membership. Their pharmacy always has ridiculous lines so plan ahead for a 30 minute wait. Also, when you call in your prescription refill, it often takes 3-4 days. While the wait is painful, you don't have to be a member to use this pharmacy and they offer great prices on generic drugs. If you see an item you like, buy it. Their products change so frequently that I've learned the "I'll buy it next time" policy isn't a good one. They now take VISA!!! No more crappy American Express. Last but not least, this membership is worth it alone if for the gas prices! 91 octane for the same price as 85 in other gas stations. read more

Wow. I'm from Seattle and apparently have a much higher standard for Costco. Up there, I've never had a bad experience. This Costco is a different story. We came in to buy the new OLED TV and wanted to ask a few questions. We had to search the store for help and finally found some staff chatting in the corner. These employees told us point blank that they had no idea what the TV did or was, and could not help us further. Apparently no one was working the electronics dept. that day. They literally suggested that we google the TV to answer our questions. When you're making a two thousand dollar purchase at a store, you really should be able to expect some modicum of service. This is my favorite Costco in Colorado. I've never had any issues with their abundance of parking spots, the co-shoppers are friendlier, and the layout of this store doesn't feel as crowded. Wait, did I mention there's a Costco Liquor? Yep, the store is right next to the building, but it has a separate entrance from the mega store. In addition to that, this location does some automobile servicing, so prices are just as competitive for tires and other services. The only gripe I have about this location, is the fueling center, the entrance is in the far side and the exit can be difficult due to the heavy traffic for those either leaving or entering this Costco, if this place were closer, it'd be my go-to. read more

Costco the company is great. Good deals, great value etc., but the inconvenience on renewing your membership when you pay thousands of dollars a year is just ridiculous. Use to be able to renew at check out and the incompetent lady took my rewards and applied it to my bill instead of the renewal then says, sorry I can't renew here. Well you think when I give you my WHOLE PAPER to renew you'd tell the customer that up front. She gives me cash back doe the difference and says to wait in line at the service counter to renew. I stand at the service counter for a solid 25 minutes, not even acknowledged. Like what the hell kind of service are you trying to run. I don't like playing the run around game and quite frankly it's annoying to stand in the middle of the aisle when I should be social distancing but now have to wait in ANOTHER LINE. What is this Costco? Figure it out. read more

this location is my favorite by far. They have great staff. Only one department to avoid - the tire shop. They cheat the customer by trying to steal their after market parts of the rims. Thinks it is ok to play around and not do anything to the customer's vehicle for 45 minutes. Then to treat the customer badly after the customer asked why the long wait and what progress are they making. The service manager (around the year 2009) was almost fired by the assistant manager of the whole store for his lack of customer service skills. So, don't shop for tires here. read more

Favorite Costco in town. Compared to the Costco just off of 70 FWY and 52nd Street, the Westminster Costco is less of a zoo! I like to get what I need and at a deal - that's why I love Costco. What I love even more is that even though membership is required to buy warehouse products (i.e. photos, optics, food, clothes) you do not, I repeat, you do not need a membership to use the pharmacy. Generics drugs are the cheapest in town, and if you or someone is paying out of pocket, Costco is super competitive at prices. Also, flu shots are cheap at $15 bucks, what a steal!! I also love taking advantage of the food court. My recent service was for passport photos. A set of 4 for $4.99!! Costco sometimes just blows my mind when I look at competitor prices. read more

We've been going to this Costco since it opened and we find it to be clean, well organized, and with a friendly staff, most of whom have been there for many years. We especially like the Optical department and the Optician, Dr. Olson, who does a thorough exam for a reasonable cost. Recently the temple on my glasses broke while on vacation. As soon as we returned I took them to Sharon, the manager of the department, fully expecting to have to order a whole new pair of glasses. Instead she found my frame there and just replaced my lenses into the new frame...10 minutes and I had 'new' glasses without any charge! I have always been more than happy with everyone in the Optical department at this Costco and this is just one reason why. read more

It's always fun to make a trip to Costco. However I always end up spending way too much on bulk items. I like this Costco because it has the items that I like that other Costco's don't always seem to have. At this location, there is plenty of parking, but it gets hectic, especially on weekends or near holiday time. The price of the gas is cheap, so make sure to fill up your tank here. I enjoy the samples they have available. The reason why I took a star off is because it is sometime difficult to find an item, and there is usually no employees around to ask for help. The desserts here are insane! The pumpkin pie is less than $10 and is huge. It could probably feed 10 people. I love getting birthday cakes here because they do a great job on your order. When leaving Costco, I always get a berry smoothie. They are delicious! read more

Have been coming here for a couple years now. I first started my membership for buying food in bulk to prepare meals for a diet that I decided to undergo. I love how everything I needed to buy was in bulk saving me a ton of money, since the diet had me eating the same thing every day, for every meal just about. There were variations, like in the protein, substituting fish out for chicken, or any other one that was for sale at Costco. I love the convenience of having everything there just about food wise. I could get my frozen veggies and frozen chicken in bulk and have enough to last me the week for roughly $30. Costco also recently started carrying pre-cooked individual brown rice bowls, which I started adding to my diet this summer. It makes prepping my meals a whole lot faster and adds a great variety and fiber that I need. They also have a no-salt seasoning from their signature Kirkland brand that I use to season my proteins before cooking. There are many other essential items that Costco sells, from furniture to clothes, cleaning supplies, electronics...etc. It is huge! Definitely worth the $55 dollar annual membership if you shop frequently and get items in bulk. read more

I am extremely disappointed in this location and will not be returning. My little brother who is 7 years old almost collapsed while we were waiting in line today. He lost all color in his face, his mouth was looking blue, and couldn't hold himself up. While my mom was trying to hold him up and see what was happening, the woman checking us out turns to me and asks how we plan on paying (for our 3 items that we owed $20 for). My brother said that he was having an allergic reaction and the lady acted irritated that my mom was focused on trying to get Benadryl out of her purse rather than reach for her credit card. We were shocked that we were treated so poorly in such a scary moment for our family. She showed absolutely no compassion or sense of urgency in this situation and neither did the surrounding employees. read more

Over all CostCo is an okay place to shop for bulk items, with comparable prices to competitor warehouse stores. Normally I would consider Costco a four star shopping experience due to its pricing, organization, selection, cleanliness and "friendliness". The issue with this location specifically is the employees lack of training and customer service. I'm not referring to the charming elderly ladies offering free samples because they do a fantastic; no, I am explicitly referring to the cashiers customer service. My experience has been that if you are a non-traditional or multi-unit household (gay couple, brother/sister, roommates or other) expect problems!!! I've had cashiers tell me (on more than one occasion) that for my partner to "pay" for our items when she's with me she has to a member?!?! Which I found fairly annoying because she IS A MEMBER on my account - with her own card. So why would the cashier have an issue if I present my Membership card and she pays? Really, CASH IS CASH!!! what's the PROBLEM? Another minor thing to note about this location is they are always busy, ALWAYS! I've gone on weekends, on weekdays, in the morning, in the evening and at lunch, ALWAYS crowded and BUSY. Which also means the lot is full and lines are periodically very long. Lastly, if you hate these warehouse stores because you always leave spending hundreds of dollars, know that YES you can leave this place only spending $100 and getting what you need. Just come with a list and stick to it, but ensure you bring either CASH, a debit card or AMEX because they still don't take credit cards. Pros; pricing, organization, selection, cleanliness and "friendliness" Cons: Occasional customer service issues, parking lot is often full Overall: I still like them and will continue to shop here but the "who's paying" issue is wearing thin. I'll give them a few more opportunities before switching to another location permanently or a competitor. read more

This place is my Disneyland....it's so easy to spend lots of money here but everything is of quality and worth the money. I go,here once a month to buy my groceries in bulk. I,buy diapers here which last me a month and a huge package of wipes which have so far lasted me 5 months. The meat here is great. I get 5 steaks for 30$ here and 5 salmon fillets for about 20$. That's 10 meals,for 50$. Can't get any better at a restaurant. They have very cute baby outfits and lots of movies and books. This location has a lot of parking. The only downside is that its always crowded but it's well worth it. read more

I'm a fan of Costco in general but this particular store is always clean and we'll organized. The few times that I've needed assistance I've been able to locate someone who was able to answer my questions or point me I the right direction. For the most past, the staff is very friendly. Despite a giant parking lot, spaces can be limited at times. There's usually a line and the cashiers are always efficient and the boxers are careful packing up my purchase. They always have a fair amount of samples available, as you might expect. I've never seen them out of stock of anything. read more

I've went to this same Costco for my prescription glasses, for 3 years, each time I've needed to renew my scrip. They have me on file, I've purchased my glasses every time but yesterday I went in because I had lost my glasses so I needed to get new ones. They looked me up, found me & I didn't want anything different, I just wanted the same glasses I had before. So then the clerk asks me if I'm a member, I said no but my mother is. She then told me she had to see my moms membership card, which was strange considering I was ON FILE but ok so I went & found my mom in the store & brought back her card. Then the clerk tells me she has to actually SEE my mom, I couldn't believe it but I went & got my mother to follow me back to the eye glasses department so then she thinks I already paid so I could have pretended that I had paid & got free glasses but instead I told her, I have not paid for these glasses yet & she then tells me after I hand her my credit card that my mother has to pay for my glasses. That she couldn't accept payment from me!! I was outraged!! I couldn't believe she said that to me! Why should my mom have to pay for MY GLASSES! I said I've ALWAYS paid for my own glasses & it's NEVER been a problem before! But she said that was their policy! THAT IS RIDICULOUS! If that really is their policy, your gonna loses a A-LOT of business & I'm gonna tell everyone I know about this! It's absolutely F*%&@?$!!!!!!! that you would expect my mom to pay when I've always paid for my own glasses in the past! & having me go get my mom so that the clerk could see her after I went & got her membership card so she obviously was there with me! My mom & me & the rest of my family won't EVER go back to that Costco! I'll be telling everyone I know how I was treated! Unbelievable!!!!! read more

One of the better Costcos. Easy parking and friendly staff. Plus they carried a lot of stuff that I don't see at the Aurora location. Love all the food samples of course :) Keeps me from shopping while starving... which is dangerous. Love the pre-made frozen food section. Now that we have a little one at home, it's so helpful to have meals we can just warm up when things are chaotic. The good: Tried the mint lamb chop (yum). The chicken meatballs are always good to have on hand. Pulled pork is great Rotisserie chicken Protein! The ground bison was great for burgers We also load up on paper towels and dish soap while we are here. Not a fan of the chicken and kale ravioli Their produce is so so. The Asian grocery store has far better/cheaper produce. And Pacific Market isn't too far & H Mart is literally down the street from the Aurora location. And a heads up, I think they only take Amex for a credit card. read more

Five stars for the store and zero stars for the tire center. Ordered tires that took expected 5 days to arrive. Got a UPS alert they had been delivered. Brought car in at Saturday opening and desk person said they didn't have the tires. Eventually he found the delivery notice I guess. He said it would take 2-3 hours and they would call when car was ready. After almost 4 hours we called them to learn the car was done. First time buying tires from Costco and won't use them again. Discount tires down the street was only $10 more and included TPMS rebuild kit. Peerless on 120th in Broomfield was $25 less w/o kit. Costco was out of kits and told me my car didn't need one even though It is 8 years old and everyone else advised getting it done. They also took the nice metal valve stem covers I had put on and replaced them with crappy plastic ones. I didn't notice it until I got home. I only used them to get the $ credit on my exec card but never again. Store is great, tire center meh. read more

I have lived close to this particular Costco nearly my whole life, and for as long as I can remember, it has always been a fantastic place to shop. Ample parking, friendly staff, and not overly crowded (apart from some Saturday afternoons). I have seen the same lot of employees for many years, and that really says something about a company too. You can tell they do not have a high turnover rate and they treat their employees well, which in turn makes a much more pleasant environment to shop in. I love the free samples and the showcases that they do as well! Just recently, I had one of the gals at check out mention the Executive Membership to me, but I wasn't sure if it was such a good fit for my husband and I. She took us to the customer service counter and explained all the amenities that come with the upgraded membership without ever pressuring us into upgrading our card. I had NO idea there were so many perks to having it, so we went with it. The nice thing is that they pro rate the fee so if you are already a few months into your renewal, you don't pay the full price of the upgrade. Overall I think this location wins over Superior or Arvada, just based on the business and staff alone. Great place to bulk buy what you need and save some money! read more

I had a tire going flat and not a lot of time to waste. I pulled into The Tire department at Costco in Westminster, Co. I asked a worker, David M, how long it might take for a repair. He asked me to back up and he saw the piece of metal in my tire. He did quick paperwork and suggested I run inside the warehouse and have a bite to eat or a drink and they would get to it as soon as they could. He was so nice and he even came in to the deli and told me my car was ready. I love this kind of service. I went back the next week to buy new tires as he showed me where they were very worn. It was another great experience and fairly quick. Thanks David, you made a stressful situation seem small. I love this place! I highly recommend to ask for David M. I've never understood the craze and obsession with Costco. I went in with my Fiancé and he wanted to sign up for a membership. So reluctantly I agreed since he was paying for the membership. It was $120 I believe. I have a Sams Club membership and I love it. I get 5% back on purchases and the cost of Sams business member ship is $99. Anyway, we went inside to sign up and then had to go back out to re-enter the building. That was stupid. My Fiance wanted a chicken bake so I went to order him 2 and a drink. The chip reader would not read my card. I tried 4 different cards and I gave up and walked away. We were trying to navigate through the store but it was so crowded and people have no courtesy for other's space. We spent $300 not including the membership cost. Came home and realized that we didnt get much for our money and it was a waste of time going there. In the last few days I did a cost comparison with Sams Club and I realize that I was right to say that Costco is overpriced and not worth it. Significant savings if you do the math. We are definitely getting a refund on the membership. Noth worth it. read more

My family and I have been Costco members since 1991. This is the Costco that we normally go to now on a regular basis. We get all of our prescriptions here. While the pharmacy is convenient for us, the wait to pick-up prescriptions can be long. The staff at the front registers are friendly and efficient. The selection of items throughout the store is great. We are always picking up extra things on our shopping trips. Love when the holidays come around. The toys and decorations are great. The only place I would say to avoid is the tire center. We have had terrible service there. We actually drive to the Costco in Superior if we need anything with our tires. read more

Got my tires replaced here a few weeks back. Had a few snafu's with identifying the correct tires beforehand online, so there was some sticker shock when I learned that the tires were actually going to be $75 more per tire. However, after that was straightened out, I had a good experience with the staff, and would recommend them to anyone. The best part though, is that they are open outside of regular business hours, which is helpful for those of us that work and need to take care of these things after work. read more

The Costco employee then tells my dad that he need needed to take his mask completely off. My dad looked him confused then the Costco employee started raising his voice repeating to my dad that he needed to take off his mask and he would notify all Costo employees "That the only man in the store not wearing a mask has a breathing condition. I was so upset. Every aisle we down there was that employee worker. My dad forgot the whole thing within a few minutes ( my father is elderly but you wouldn't guess it because he looks great) I told him let's get out of here because I was so upset and left our cart. He completely forgot how we treated, however i have not!!! read more

A much smaller Costco with not as big of a selection. Then when I got to the register the 2 men there (one bagging one ringing up) were yelling at me and made me feel very unsafe I wound up leaving all my items behind and getting out of there. I would not recommend this costco, especially as a female. read more
