They also sell quite a range of alcohols (liquers and spirits ect), as well as some really good samosas and other ready to eat foods. They don't have a vast array of publications on sale, other than the main UK newspapers, but there is a small shop across the road that sell the largest collection of magazines and newspapers from around the world, in all languages that I have ever seen. Go here, not Mayfair food Fayre!

The shop itself is "convenience store" sized, a little windy and narrow aisle-wise, and felt like a bit of a treasure hunt finding what we thought we wanted. Self-checkout was straightforward and we were happy with our purchases.

Staff at this particular branch are always very efficient, though their friendliness declines at times simply because the shop is too busy. It's also a great place to get 'six for a fiver', or six 540ml beers for £5. Try saying "six for a fiver" fast after that! If a larger grocery store is not open or nearby, and this Londis is, I'd suggest a visit. Despite the nefarious quality of goods you sometimes find in off-licenses, Londis usually stocks recognisable brand names. And it's always fun trying to guess the cultural origins of some of the pickled varieties of food you'll find in-store. Warning: staff at this branch can be rude!

The store stocks a range of products which cater for day to day needs. There's a good pattisery if you can catch the products when they're fresh. Fresh meat and veg are always available and they compare very favourably with the supermarkets. There is a small off-licence section although you'll get better choice at the offy next door. Papers and lottery are available. Staff are generally friendly although they can get a little flustered when the store gets busy. The best thing about the store is the opening times - open till late (around 10pm) each night and longer than standard hours on a Sunday!

It's not huge but has a decent selection of products and there are certain things I like more than other supermarkets in the area. First, there is a huge cheese selection - much bigger than even the large grocers in the area. They also have quite a bit of high-end smoked meats. They have very nice looking prepared food, much better than your average Sainsbury's meal deal (although more expensive). Their pastries look beautiful but again are very expensive. They have small sections to cater to dietary restrictions like vegan and gluten free. The store feels very nice and upscale and clean overall. While not as cheap as the other local options and without the variety of the larger stores, it's a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

Thank you nice postal service worker that was quick. What's this?... there's something wrong with my feet! they're going in the direction of the chilled produce rather than the front door... Luckily I didn't have any cash on me otherwise it would have been all gone for sure. It's like a posh neighborhood health food store (Americans, think Adronico's and kind of whole foods but with a little bit of Safeway select discount items thrown on some center isle displays. There's lots of yummy looking premade foods and a nice looking seafood section and some olives in pots thrown in there for good measure. They definitely seem to cater to the lunch crowd in here. Or at least to the poor susceptible fools who shop on an empty stomach. You have to wind through a maze of prepackaged yummy treats before you get to the registers. Naughty Budgens! Evil Budgens. That's the only part I don't like.
