My situation involved someone getting fired immediately upon notifying their boss that they were beginning 38 rounds of cancer treatment. Ms. Cahill offered a consultation and advice, plus took on the case when the advice didn't work with such an a..hole of an employer. She negotiated with an incompetent HR department of a popular engineering consulting firm located in Sparks to get a decent severance and continued health insurance on Cobra. She practically wrote the severance package document herself after it was evident that the in-house attorney at the firm googled what goes into a severance deal. Losing a job after 42 years in the engineering community while close to retirement as one begins a journey of cancer treatment is the worst! Shame on that firm that goes by three initials. No decency. Luckily, Ms. Cahill was instrumental in helping with the health insurance situation and the person who got laid off is now doing well and got a big wig job in the industry where they are appreciated and highly respected.

She was condescending, dismissive, and seemed uninterested in even the basic details of my situation. Rather than showing professionalism or empathy, she spoke to me in a way that made me feel belittled and unwelcome -- a stark contrast to the level of courtesy I expected from a reputable law office. First impressions matter, and based on this experience, I would strongly caution others to think twice before contacting this firm. A law office that allows its staff to treat potential clients this way speaks volumes about its internal culture and respect for the people seeking legal help. Not to mention that when I asked for my free legal consultation, you'd have thought I was asking for free representation.

It was only after an email i sent stating how disappointed I was in their lack of professionalism and customer service that he finally called me back. I asked numerous times "if they can't support me due to being too busy to just let me know. " They ensured me that they could help me but kept stringing me along with zero contact. I will never give an organization my business that treats their potential clients like that.
