We were celebrating my son's 30th bday and found Cotoia Catering. It was a small gathering, but I wanted an elevated experience, and Jacqueline did not disappoint! She created an amazing and beautiful charcuterie, and we had lemon orzo and plum meatballs. Everything was outstanding!! She also provided a flourless chocolate cake, which was a huge hit! I would definitely recommend Cotoia and Jacqueline, and I would use them again in the future. :)

I wanted to do something special for my wife's 55th birthday and I thought a private chef catering dinner would be unique, especially after my wife had a long day at work. I contacted Jaqueline and couldn't be more happy that I did. Jaqueline was very open to suggested menu options and made sure no one had dietary restrictions or allergies. My wife loves Mediterranean food, so we agreed on an Orzo salad, tomato/cucumber/feta cheese salad, seared Salmon and Greek rice. For dessert she prepared a lemon cake with raspberry compote. Jaqueline and her husband delivered the food right on time, and I mean the timing was perfect! She plated all the courses and ensured everything was satisfactory with us before letting us dive in to her delicious food. When I say delicious, I mean it was DELICIOUS! Thank you Jaqueline for making my wife's birthday one that she will never forget.

Delicious beef and pork tamales with seasoned sour cream.

Our waitress was spectacular, and all other staff were willing to help out without hesitation! The ambiance was moderate to quiet where we were sat, but there was much louder more talkative areas in the restaurant too. The light is dim, intimate, and could be romantic if that is what you're searching for. We would definitely recommend for a tasty dinner with good service :)

The crab cakes are delicious, plenty of crab, light, and not dry yet also not mushy. Fresh, sweet tasting crab, and in substantial enough pieces that you're not searching. Not bready, bricky, or crumbly. Delicate, delicious. As East Coasters we are super picky about our crab cakes and we always get them when dining there. No joke, I sometimes dream about them! We shared the rack of lamb as our main. Well seasoned and juicy. My mom, my 3 year old, and I had plenty to eat. This particular portion size is a full rack so plenty for all of us to share. We really appreciate that they don't rub down the rack with mustard like some places--just a great spice rub. The creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were both excellent sides - solid for a steakhouse experience. Same with the iced tea - solid. Back to the kiddo: I noticed she wasn't the only young child there. This place manages to maintain a classy, elegant atmosphere even with all the kids. (There weren't nearly as many when we went for a birthday earlier in the year). But we loved that, even with the vibe of the place, they still offered children's drinks in nicely sealed cups. Relief! Restrooms were clean, hostesses and management were as pleasant and lovely as the server, food runners were prompt and thoughtful. The parking's not their fault, but it can get a little crowded out there so come early or prepare to walk a bit.

The atmosphere was so very laid back which was relaxing for a larger family. The fried pickles breading was thicker than I was expecting but provided a nice balance and were very crispy. The steak fries were crispy from the time they brought them out to the time we packed up. My kids loved the kids meal shrimp. Not too bready and nice and crispy. The chicken sandwich was ginormous! AND crispy and still juicy. The fried chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The Mac and cheese was creamy. The green beans were a little disappointing for me, I thought they were to acidic. The meatloaf had good depth of flavor and wasn't dry. The steak had a great sear on it and was still medium rare. Great unique Not pictured were the biscuits. Service was exceptional - from wine recommendations to always having full water glasses. The evening began with an impressive charcuterie board featuring a generous assortment of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and antipasti. The variety was outstanding, offering everything from delicate prosciutto and salami to creamy spreads and tangy marinated vegetables. The board was beautifully arranged and encouraged sharing, conversation, and plenty of flavor exploration. The butternut squash ravoli were served in a rich cream sauce, it was indulgent and satisfying. The pasta was tender and well-filled, while the velvety sauce added a luxurious touch without overwhelming the dish. It was a hit. The orecchiette pasta showcased a more rustic side of Italian cooking. Combined with broccolini, spicy sausage, tomatoes, and a dusting of Parmesan, the dish offered a nice balance of savory, fresh, and earthy flavors. The pasta was perfectly cooked and hearty enough to stand on its own as a memorable entrée. The pizza delivered everything diners hope for from a traditional Italian pie: a beautifully blistered crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and generous toppings. The combination of olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and cured meats created layers of flavor, while the char on the crust suggested a properly hot oven and careful attention to technique. Dessert provided a fitting finale. The tiramisu was light and creamy with a generous dusting of cocoa, offering the classic coffee-and-mascarpone flavors that make it a perennial favorite. The diplomatico was a cream-filled pastry added a contrasting texture with its flaky layers and sweet filling, making it difficult to choose a favorite between the two. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with low lighting that creates a comfortable dining experience. Portions were generous, presentation was appealing, and the menu demonstrated a commitment to traditional Italian flavors. This restaurant excels at delivering authentic Italian comfort food with quality ingredients and generous portions. The standout charcuterie board, flavorful pasta dishes, well-executed pizza, and exceptional desserts combine to create a memorable dining experience that would be easy to recommend for both casual dinners and special occasions.

With no one to cook for besides me and hubby, I figured what's more American than going out to eat? It was a GREAT experience! The place has been completely remodeled and enlarged since I was here last. It's up to date with hi top tables, lots of TVs (closed captioning too) showing lots of sports, and a trendy vibe. The bar is larger and has a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. (Be sure to try the Orange Dreamsicle. It's non alcoholic and really refreshing.). There's even a misted pet-friendly patio and a special doggo menu. Because it's Independence Day I tried the pork ribs and they were crazy good. Hubs had the Philly cheesesteak, no regrets there either. Oh, if you like onion rings, the ones they served me were a perfect golden brown and the onions melted in my mouth. Harrison, our waiter, was attentive and charming He made the meal even more pleasant. Our friends ordered a wedge salad and we ordered calamari fries. My girlfriend wasn't crazy about the salad but it would be because she doesn't like pork belly. Our husband's loved it. Calamari was very tender and plentiful. I ordered the prime tip skewer with bell pepper and onions. Deliciously tender. My husband ordered the sliced steak that you cook on a 400° stone at your table and it was exceptional. Our friends ordered the meatballs that could be either in a red sauce or a mushroom gravy so they ordered both and my picky friend (her hubby) said one of the best meatballs he has had. The truffle fries were great. High compliments from him all night long. (From the chilled beer glasses that fit his bottle of beer for a perfect poor to the dessert. He was happy!) We ended with a butter cake that had a toasted marshmallow cream and ice cream and their Apple Cobbler. Both enough to share with 4-6 people. (He even praised the ice cream) The above is important but what also made our evening was how fun it was to be playful with our service team. We had Yuri and Krista and oh noooo I forgot to write down our busser's name. He was the best! But really, they all took such good care of us and of course the manager always stops by to check. We will definitely be coming back to happy hour more often, as we all found the dining experience one of the best happy hours around.
