Sevice? There was none. Their website doesnt work......emailed customer service because I wanted to buy a tree.......NO REPLY for hours. I gave up. The only way to reach them is by email. I can imagine if I had a problem with a purchase. Prob never would hear from them. My advice......stay away from Cottage Hill Nursery. Their are PLENTY good nurseries out there. I am the spouse of one of the employees that works there. My husband started working almost 2 years ago and has come to work every day, except when he is needed to stay at home to take care of the kids. He worked there the day his brother passed away and stayed there for the entire day because he didn't want to leave them hanging when he was given the opportunity to leave early. In the company handbook, it states that a person who is full time and who has been there one full calendar year is entitled to 5 days of vacation time. My husband went to the lady that is over the vacation time and asked her back in January about how to do his vacation time and she told him, "I don't think you have a lot because we really should 'knock you down to part time' because you have to leave early to pick up your kids or come in after taking the kids to school." Last I checked, federal law says that anything over 30 hours is considered full time, so my husband is entitled to his vacation time. Fast forward to last week...he got the paper that he needed to fill out so that we can go visit my family who I haven't seen in over ten years and he filled it out and went to turn it in to his supervisor today. The supervisor told him that he didn't want to see the paper and that he probably wouldn't approve it anyway because "it is for March and not May" and then had the damn nerve to say, "If you don't want to work here you don't have to". Nowhere in that handbook does it say that he has to wait until May and where does this supervisor get off saying that to my husband who has been there almost 2 freaking years, is non-confrontational, and comes to work every damn day! If you're looking for a job, don't go to this place because they are two-faced and go back on what they tell you! read more

Three wax dipped amaryllis bulbs ordered. Would have rated quality for all 3 as maybe a 3 out of 5 stars. Two of those were gifts and the recipients did not want to return. One was mine and I absolutely returned for a replacement (which I am still waiting on) because the stalks were broken and wax covering was a mess. It also takes forever to receive an order. I do all of my shopping online and have for years. I have seen it all and would never buy from this nursery again. read more

Not surprising the average user rating is 1 star. I wouldn't recommend affiliating with this company for purchases or employment. The level of unprofessionalism is just ridiculous. My SO worked there for a few months until he finally had enough. The owners and managers are very disrespectful. If you're wanting to get anywhere in the job, expect to have to kiss a** and jump when they say jump. If not, you are treated unfairly and as an outcast. I personally witnessed my so being treated like crap compared to other workers around him. The management will tell you, they don't care about you because you are easily replaceable. I feel sorry for all the workers that bend over backwards, for years, and still make the same starting wage. Dont waste your money trying to order any plants from them either. I lost count of how many times my so told me they had to bag and ship off dead plants, destroyed plants, or even intentionally sending the wrong plants. They witnessed management purposely tagging plants as different ones. All to just hurry and get rid of the order. I was happy when they left that toxic environment. And if you are considering placing an application, just know, many of the people my so worked with will say the same things ive mentioned in this review. read more

Ordered 23 plants from this nursery, via Target.com. Eight were lost by Fed Express and showed up 4 days after delivery all dead. Still looking for other 15 plants, that were supposed to be delivered in April. Won't use this nursery ever! read more

Ordered something for Mother's Day from this company through QVC 4/25 - It's now 5/15 and have not received the item. When I contacted them directly the customer service representative laughed at me when I explained the reason I ordered this gift and why I was upset is I am a caregiver and can't just drop everything to run out shopping for holidays ~ I find it distasteful and upsetting that someone that calls themselves a "customer service" rep would find humor in my difficult situation~ her reason for laughing... *no reason she should be upset over my problems* read more
