He easily could have up-sold me for more than I needed, but instead, made suggestions on what would best suit my needs and budget.. I made my selections, and he took laser measurements for the two windows I was having new shades made for. He told me there would be a 3-4 week lead time from the manufacturer, since they are custom made to fit each application. About three weeks after he first came to measure, he returned and installed the new shades. He worked very cleanly, putting down a small quilt on my floor to prevent damage and dirt. I absolutely could not be happier with the shades or his workmanship. These folks are friendly, very professional and a pleasure to do business with. And as always, you get what you pay for. After we paid $25,000, we call with some problems with the two French doors. The screens on both doors did not work properly, the weather stripping ribbed off and one of the handles on the doors was stripped. Right after installation we recognize the poor customer service. We called, we emailed, we basically pleaded for them to help us with our concerns, however, the typical response from Salon was "let me look into it and call you back". And then he never would called back. Two years of poor customer service, it has been frustrating.
