My loved one fell and spent nearly 24 hours on the floor no one bothered to notify a family member. Our loved one was taken to the hospital via ambulance. However someone from accounting did call to ask for money the same day AND did not mention the fall or the hospital. When a resident does not check-in in the morning someone is supposed to check on them. No one did. Our loved one was found later by a maintenance person who stopped by to put a door knob on that was missing. House keeping is part of the package. In three months the apartment was cleaned once. And I use the term "cleaned" loosely. The bathroom was cleaned but the furniture was covered in dust and the kitchen was lightly wiped down, not cleaned. Most of the staff were helpful and pleasant. But the administrative staff was dismissive (after the contract was signed).

Desert Hills Memory Care Center We visited several…read moreresidential care facilities before entrusting our mother to Desert Hills Memory Care Center, which was recommended by the family of a resident. Gratefully, there was no institiutional appearance to turn us away. Instead an airy bright, cheerful, resort-like ambiance greeted us. Mature trees swaying in the light breeze, potted plants, a relaxed, cozy and inviting guest services desk, with a platter of fresh baked cookies on the counter. We were immediatley put at ease. Appearance versus staff: it was the people! Cheerful, helpful, always willing to serve. We chose this facility for those reasons. Its been 2 1/2 years now and Mother's laundry is expertly done, her clothing accounted for and returned to her-not mixed or lost in with the general populous. Her room is always clean, housekeeping done on a weekly basis. The food is appetizingly served and a nutritious diet followed. Mother has been surrounded by her own belongings and furniture, in a beautiful private room with a view. All the common areas shine, very inviting. From the very beginning, the staff set out to familiarize themselves with mother's medical/physical condition, wants and needs and have unfailingly sought to meet these. She is catered to!! The work is hard but staff make it seems effortless and always with a smile. Mother has six children, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother, nieces and nephews, thus many, many visitros. It is a great relief that all concerns are addressed immediately. We have received nothing but positive feedback. When asked mother always answers, "They can't do enough for me." From the very beginning Desert Hills staff has gone out of its way to make mother, family and friends feel welcome, any time, all the time. Our family is confident mother is safe, secure and very well cared for at Desert Hills.

I am very impressed with this facility. I have noted that all of the employees appear to work as a team. The physical therapist are very committed to their patients. On day 5 here I was able to walk using a front wheel walker approximately 15 steps! Prior to surgery on 8/3/23, I made one attempt to walk and it was a struggle Obviously the surgery was a success and I am very happy to be receiving my post op care at this facility. A shout out to PT Ted and Angel. They both really encouraged me to get up and walk!

I was ambulanced from Temecula and had no family with me. They could hear the screaming over the phone and told me to call the police. They arrived with an ambulance to take me safely to Hemet hospital while waiting for my insurance to get me to another facility. San Jacinto Valley was great but I wish I was at one of the ones closer to Temecula. DONT GO THERE !!!!! Btw I have United Health Care and Medicare.

Supervisor or only RN on each station tried to ignore you if you had questions . Had to be there daily and do a lot of complaining to get anything done for my family. Administration of course was nice since they don't want complaints. Try and stay away from this place if possible if not please stay on top of your family or it's bad patient care from start to finish

My aunt is now staying here after spending a few months at a terrible center. She really likes it here. The staff is friendly, food is good, and all the beautiful nature is breathtaking. We feel relieved knowing she is in the best quality of care. The "duck" pond at the entrance is adorable as well as the huge patio out back. What really burnt me up though is the owner here decided to text message my phone calling me a "grumpy bastard." (Isn't that right Barry Sarson) I originally deleted the message because i knew it was them, but I didn't have the proof. Thank to a good reverse call locator I have the proof now, and I;m sharing it with the rest of the world. So don't bother calling me again, or I'll have Hemet PD pay you a visit. I'm also posting pictures of the dirt left on the ceiling fans, and dishes left in the sink by the 2nd shift crew. and a couple of meal pictures that I was served. Mark my word, when the cooks were allowed to cook something it was pretty good. ( Like this Cheese Enchilada Unfortunately, those occasions were far and few between. I've read they changed their name to The Legacy now, but that doesn't mean they've cleaned up their act. I'd rather die in my own home than stay in place like this again or Kaiser Permanente.
