My partner and I have been coming to the cottages for 5 or 6 years now and we've stayed in 3 different cottages on the property and we have absolutely loved our stay each and every time. Each cottage is clean and adorable and the owners have clearly worked hard to curate many vintage decorations. When we started coming here, Dave and Therese were still managing day to day operation. And they're still around but they've passed the torch to their son and daughter in law Paul & Amy. it's still the same wonderful experience-evidently it's been in the family for decades. I love that! Vermillion is a great little town too, with lots of cute shops and restaurants. This is legitimately our "Happy Place". Fair warning, if you can't separate yourself from the TV or internet, maybe this isn't the place for you. Most cottages do not have tv's and the Wi-Fi is not terribly strong. These cottages are clean, quaint and cute. They have an vintage style but have good AC and the basic appliances necessary to store food and do minimal food prep and really--who wants to cook much on vacation? Beautiful, relaxing setting and a quiet beach to watch the kids play in the water. They light a fire pit each night which makes s'mores easy. They cottages are also close enough to town that you can easily pick up what you forgot to pack, grab a meal out, enjoy ice cream or a little shopping in a cute downtown. We return to these cottages for a week each year and love it. You will too! read more

My wife and I stayed here with our toddler son. The cottages are exactly what you want for a summer vacation. Growing up in Michigan, this place brought back memories of the summer trips I took with my family as a kid. The water front is perfect for relaxing or playing with kids. We will definitely be back for another trip! read more

Loved the cottages and the peaceful side of the lake..particularly the walk down the bluff to the waters edge and the lookout benches. Will most definitely return with my family in summers to come. Very easy trip with short rental car ride from the airport after a direct flight from Florida. Awesome! read more
