The elderly gentleman that was running the store was super friendly. Parking is a challenge - there's a double row of metered spots splitting the U-shaped strip mall but every spot was taken (we had walked from our conference/hotel). He sent me to a buy/sell/trade establishment, and but they gave me $10 for several silk ties bought at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and still in the wrapping as well as some amazing clothing that my mother had before she died (from Jones of New York and Talbotts, almost never worn). I felt like he thought I wouldn't have anything because of the way I was dressed. (I don't dress up to show my status in the world, and clothes are not that important to me.) I really despise what feels like prejudice, and I cannot believe that he lied straight to my face and didn't even tell me of the other consignment store on the street.

I really enjoyed coming in and glad we did. The place is so inviting, the furniture and accessories, home decor provides that farmhouse, down-to-earth feeling. There are two floors to the place so be sure to go upstairs as well. You can see how much they have been doing to it. This is also a paint store so you can repaint any old furniture, a true sense of reuse and recycling. Kirsty the owner was there and we enjoyed talking with her.
