If you happen to go visit during these hours, the door will be open and you will be greeted by someone who will insist that auctions work differently, despite the fact that they have consigned items for retail. Most auction houses I have been to generally clearly list the days they are open for preview and do not indicate they are open for business at other times.

It is located off of Southport Road next to the Bingo hall. Open Thursday through Friday nights. This is redneck livin' at its finest and it is an actual auction. It's not cars or livestock or Sotherby's; what it is is a bunch of random shit that comes from God only knows where and now it is all here to buy. We walked away with Scarface air fresheners, key chains, packs of M&Ms, safety goggles, and more. We ate corn dogs and split a can of Coke. We shook our heads at all this..... stuff. They accept cash and checks. We also like the fact that there is a donation box for the Shriner's hospital for kids' toys and goods. Several items that went up for auction were actually put in the box. If you want a show, folks, this is cheaper than the movies. Even if you have that uneasy feeling and hear dueling banjos- it will subside as someone shines a 10,000 candle light power flashlight in your eye and tells you to buy some purdy nice stuff!

I bid and won a purse for $32.50. The title was, "Marked Couch Purse". They posted one picture of…read morethe outside of the purse. Since it said "Marked", I trusted it had the marking label on the inside, as all authentic Coach purses do. When it arrived, the purse was CLEARLY a fake. No marking and a PU, not leather, strap. I had purchased an authentic designer purse from them last month, so I felt it was just a mistake...maybe a new employee assessing the merchandise and creating the listing. Not the case. I was offered as a one time courtesy to send the valueless purse back for a refund, but would not be refunded buyers cost or shipping to me. Basically, I would be re-couping 12 bucks (shipping back to them would be at least $20) and they have the purse to list again to fool someone else. It was not marked. They flat out lied. Dude went on and on how they use the word "marked" to mean something different then everyone else in the estate/auction business. And on and on about how I should have called them with questions. What? Was I to call them, an auction house, and ask what their definition of "marked" is? After I wouldn't accept his BS, he offered a partial refund without me having to send the trash bag back. I told him to keep his little money; my pride is not for sale. What is wrong with people?
