When asked simple questions such as "have you previously operated, maintenanced, or worked on" the property, receptionist was vague and only concerned with "what is this in regards to" and continued to deflect questions. Obviously questionable behavior for a "honest" establishment, with zero help or initiative to simply assist a new home owner. My recommendation is NEGATIVE due to questionable behavior and immediate attempt at deniability. If this comment works out like the rest of the negative ones on this page, I am sure they will respond in an attempt to deflect any flaw in their behalf. I have lived at apartment complexes over the past 30 years and Valley Vista was by far the best…read moreexperience. The apartments are well built with amazing soundproofing, a secured entrance, and with highly responsive maintenance who are friendly as well. The apartments come with pre-installed blinds, a door to the balcony, an open floor plan from the kitchen to living room, it has a laundry in the apartment itself, and the bathroom is the largest I've ever had. It has a large vanity that's maybe 7 feet long, and the regular stuff you find in a bathroom. But I loved that vanity. Having enough storage in a bathroom has always been a problem for me. I actually had more storage space than I needed in this bathroom, that's how much storage was available. Grounds maintenance is really good. In the winter, the snowplows come through regularly and keep the drives clean. The sidewalks are regularly shoveled and well salted. In the summary the lawns are maintained regularly. The office staff are very helpful and quick to respond to emails. The rent is very reasonable. The apartment is 0.4 miles from Meijer and 0.2 miles from Aldi's. It has easy access from both I-196 and M-6. The general neighborhood is quiet. You get the feel of being way out in the country when you are really on the edge between country and suburbs. It is a pet-free community (except for service animals), which I greatly appreciated do to my allergies. There is no community room or pool, but I was completely okay with that and I honestly feel like it helps keep the rent down.
