This spot has been on my radar for quite a while! after filming me & my crew needed a place to fill our stomachs. Couch potato wasn't too far and we booked it! Upon entering, the atmosphere was very refreshing with bright wall art and menu screens with various mascot animations. The establishment was very clean and friendly. For a small businesses it was quite comfortable. We got our orders in and within no time our food was almost too hot to eat! The food blew away mine and my party's expectations! The two people who worked the counter a young man and young women - were both welcoming and friendly. Couch Potato has three or four tables inside to eat. If your slow to getting a table to go is also an option. I visited Couch Potato based on thedamtok from Tik Tok. He seems to find every hidden gem in CT. I love a baked potato with alot of butter. First of all... WOW!!!!! Absolutely loved this spot! The service was great, once we ordered we were given a buzzer which alerts when the food is ready. I had the Mac-n-tater and it was AMAZING! Amazing flavor, the cheese from the mac n cheese was so creamy! The portion is great for the price! My husband had the Sweet Baby Tater and he said he would give it a 10/10! The walls are adorned with cartoon themed potatoes, creating a fun atmosphere that perfectly aligns with the restaurant's focus on loaded potato entrees.It was difficult to choose a loaded potato entree as they all looked very good. I settled on "The Original"; the base was a large baked potato, generously topped with cheese, crispy bacon, scallions, and dollops of sour cream. It was delicious, each bite was full of flavor. Just wanna say thank god for some flavor. My wife and I just moved up from down south, and while most restaurants are decent, a lot of the food is very... Caucasian. I love the delis and Italian and bakeries, but good lord does the northeast need a little seasoning sometimes! Been here a few times and every time the food is great.
