I see Jayne Kraft, who primarily works for the VA. I've seen various therapists over the years, and…read moredefinitely feel that she is one of the best ones I've experienced. On our first meeting, she was prompt and on time. She and I talked about what I was looking for and how I had been feeling, and she assessed that I may need treatment that I was unaware of. She gave me a "test" to gauge where I fell on the scale for a certain illness, and it turned out that I was at a critical level. I've been doing the treatment for six weeks (halfway through) and I can see a difference in my thinking patterns. One of the best things about my specific experience is that Jayne assigns "homework" for me to do during the week. These tasks are very simple, but the effects of what they teach make so much of a difference when layered together. Additionally, she always takes the time to explain any term or practice she is using to me, and makes sure to include any life changes I have into her treatment. The work is less about "let me vent" and more about "let me get better." She also recommended that I get a sleep study done, and her recommendation quite literally saved my life. I was diagnosed with two sleep disorders, one of which was putting me at extreme risk for heart attack and stroke. I have had both of these disorders since birth, and the help I have received from Jayne and the sleep center has completely changed my mental health. I work with a psychiarist in a different office, and I have never had an issue with communication between the two of them. I work less with the front desk and organize my appointments with Jayne, but any time I have to work with them they are always friendly and ready to help. I highly recommend their services.

What a horrible experience. "Dr." Scott Farris not only lacks empathy, but his slouched posture and…read morepoor attire really shows how much he takes pride in his career. He seemed rather inconvenienced and annoyed by my appointment from the beginning. Odd considering the amount of money I pay monthly for great insurance but he really couldn't have cared less about the challenges I'm facing. He made me feel like I was lying about a previous diagnosis and medications that did not work in the past. Mainly because I was unsure about the medical terms for these types of medicines. He made it seem like he asked me these questions and I didn't answer them to his standard. Then, he started being condescending and looking for an argument. I was rather taken back by his demeanor and his Golden Girls attitude. Like this guys a joke. I honestly feel bad for this man and the establishment he represents. As he mentioned so confidently in his dress for less shirt from Ross that was way too tiny for his frame , "he`s been doing this for 20+ years." I think retirement should be considered. Who comes to work in that profession dressed like he should be cleaning up the place.
