I want to alert anyone considering this business that they have shown bottom-of-the-barrel business ethics and practices. Our family bought a new home and the builder used them for counters and back splash. Counter-Fitters claimed the builder did not pay them. I consulted my closing attorney at the title company who verified that the builder signed a document noting all vendors were paid. Counter-Fitters understood this and decided to file a lien against our property and threatened to send us (the home buyers) to collections even though their business was only between the builder and themselves. All we did was buy a home and had nothing to do with building it. I am a military member on a one-year deployment to the Middle East during this time while my wife raises our family and tries to take care of everything by herself. This was explained to multiple people at this establishment, but all they care about is the money and have continued to harass my wife with phone calls and threats. Rather than pursue payment from the builder, they are trying to get it wherever they think it is easiest regardless of the ethics, legality, and basic human decency that should exist within a local business. They also damaged the cabinetry, ripped out the lights, left exposed wires when installing the backsplash. The builder and Counter-Fitters both left it in this condition. There are other people to choose from who can take basic responsibility and show a modicum of integrity. Find a company with better character who isn't willing to resort to desperate, cowardly, and unethical practices just to get paid no matter if its right or wrong. read more

We were very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail that Counter Fitters supplies to their customers! We recently did a major renovation to our kitchen and used Counter Fitters for the new counter tops. Our project manager recommended them when we reached the stage for selection of materials to accompany the new cabinetry. Jo and I made the trip to their showroom, where we went thru the various materials they carry from marble, granite to quartz. The salesperson made a presentation after we gave our input on the color of the cabinets we had chosen and what we were looking for to match the decor and colors of our home. As part of this process we had selected a few samples. We had thought we had picked a quartz counter top that my wife and I agreed on, when the salesperson said we could also walk through their site granite slabs. I suggested it was worth doing to confirm our decision. We took the tour and my wife found the perfect granite slab and we locked in on it. They made custom templates for us that we were able to select the most desirable features of our granite. In our case, it was the desirable meandering bends of granite seams that went through our slab like a river and we wanted to avoid the large chunks of mica and quartz. The templates allowed us to move and lock in those beautiful features of the natural granite. Once our new cabinets were installed, Counter Fitters showed up on the appointed time and carefully installed our now cut and highly polished granite counter tops! They ensured a minimum of seams and did an awesome job of making sure they were clean and highly polished when they left! They also came back when the counter tops were dry and we had found minor glue or rough spots for them to buff out or repair. Our granite cost about the same as a quartz counter top, which can come in over and under the cost of quartz depending on the rarity and demand of the granite. We liked the natural randomness of the granite and that the granite was sealed and that it did not have to be resealed for ten years! We thought Counter Fitters is an exceptional vendor and highly recommend them based on our customer experience and quality of their work. read more

How rude. I saw on their website that they made appointments for Saturday's, so I called to make an appointment for my wife, father-in-law and I to get our kitchen redone.I told the person who answered the phone that I wanted to make an appointment for Saturday, and she was really rude. She made it clear "we don't do Saturdays" and then tried to put me with a salesperson anyway. When she picked up again to tell me "my salesperson isn't available," I told her not to bother.
