It's located in the Duncan Student Center, which is the building they attached to the west side of the football stadium. The cafe is near the north entrance. There's lots of seating, but some of the stools are annoying tall ones, which seem to be all the rage these days, even though they're uncomfortable. The good thing about the tall stools is that they have these special metal baskets at the bottom so that you have somewhere to put all your junk while you're eating. I can see this coming in handy when the weather's bad, which it often is in South Bend; you don't have to sit against your wet and/or cold coat.

The goop inside was so so bad. Everything felt a little too Gordon food service-y. I swear our chicken salad, coleslaw, and mustard potato salad are all from large vats. The overhead must be huge here. For lunch, my bf paid $35 for tax and tip, which is honestly a little expensive for two sandwiches. Don't order lunch here but do check out their actual chocolate store. They make great gifts! And their discounted section is full of cheap treats!

The first thing I noticed was they were a little stingy with the meat. This Sloppy Joe cost $6.00 and the bun was ALMOST covered with meat. The next thing I noticed were the INCREDIBLY GREASEY fries! I picked one up and it was mushy and SATURATED with grease/oil. (see photo) ALL of the fries were soaked through and though with oil and not a crispy fry among them! I ate one and left the rest on the plate. Another customer sitting across the counter from me saw me wagging the mushy fry like a wet noodle and I heard him tell his friend "Maybe we better NOT get the fries"- GOOD ADVICE! The waitress must have sensed better than to ask me "How was everything?" as I paid the bill. The Sloppy Joe didn't taste bad- but it sure wasn't worth $6.00- and the fries were inedible. The store has hot breakfast burritos and they have some that are vegan too. I enjoyed it they had Bernie Sanders at the entrance of the store as a cardboard cutout. It's a very small store for what it is but it does have a lot of essential items at very fair prices. Restrooms here are very clean too. They had a great grab-and-go selection as well. Plenty of healthy snacks and discounted items too. If you're an owner you get even better discount items. Parking can be a bit of a pain depending on when you show up. I will happily come back to the store again
