Food and drinks were really good. Breakfast Sandwiches Everything Bagel Caramel Glacier I had a sausage, egg and Colby Jack cheese sandwich. On a bagel with Sriracha sauce. Mocha frappé to drink. The food was not kidding some of the best breakfast food I've had in a long time. I do not live in the area. I'm 45min east and wanted to bike a new city around me that I hadn't explored or really been to. Everyone in that city is extremely friendly and the customer service at Rocky Mountain cafe was only a better representation of what the city's values are. I should have asked for the name of the girl who was so helpful. She was awesome and informative. I know how annoying the Keto fad is...and more time consuming than just throwing the sugar filled pre mix into a cup. However, I asked the girl if she would mind making me a keto dirty chai, and she was completely unbothered. This is precisely why I chose to drive past Starbucks. Not only is it mediocre coffee--who knows if they are ACTUALLY following thru with your requests. Other places could use a lesson in customer service. My drink was pretty awesome as well..... I mean, as good as it can be without adding all of the stuff that makes it truly delicious. ;) This is my new coffee spot while I'm in town for work. Thank you, miss barista! Ok, so this is going to be a much shorter review than normal. We stopped in with friends last Saturday for a quick me up. It reminded me a lot of caribou coffee with the decoration and layout. There is a nice outdoor seating area. I hate to admit it, but I'm off coffee now for three weeks. So I just got a mint steamer. My wife got a decaf cappuccino and our friends got their roast of the day. Everything was good. It cost $20 for the four drinks, and it just seemed a bit much, as nobody was "wowed" by their order. The two girls working were a bit disorganized, but I couldn't get upset with them, as they were so nice and apologetic. It just took a long time to get four drinks. I'm not gonna run back, but it wasn't a bad experience either. read more

The only real coffee shop in my hometown (there isn't a Starbucks for about 20 miles). I enjoy RMC. Coffee is good, people are super friendly, and it's smoke-free. The interior set-up is a bit awkward, I wish there was more space to lounge with friends, but I'll take what I can get. In the early days RMC had weird hours, but every time I've been home lately they seem to be normal. I agree with a previous reviewer that RMC is a great place for a meet-and-great. We visited my Dad, and I was craving Starbucks, but that is 30 miles away, so he said let's try this place called Rocky Mountain. I immediately rolled my big city slicker eyes and prayed they had some sort of pick me up coffee. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is great and has that nice comfy, warm feeling to it (I'm not referring to temp but its ambiance). I like to drink their lattes. In my opinion, I like them better than Starbucks. They serve sandwiches, different flavored Jones sodas, smoothies, bagels, soups and etc. but the must have for me is their tomato basil soup. It's not served every day, so it's a matter of calling in and finding out what's their soup of the day. Perhaps make it a daily soup? Then again, it probably wouldn't be as special. Back to the hot drinks....very good and priced as expected. If you're a frequent visitor, I recommend getting a punch card for their coffee or latte. After so many purchases, you get a free drink. Its only setback is I wish that building was placed somewhere nicer (Pine Lake or some place with a nice park view). In my opinion, such a great building and atmosphere should allow its customers a view of something other than a worn down service station (Stan's), a has been Mexican restaurant and crummy neighborhood north of the building. The parking can be tight too if it gets really busy, which hasn't been a real problem for me yet. On to another positive take of this quaint place are the friendliest people that come and go, even some that stay awhile to relax and visit. Let's not forget the great people that work here - another reason for repeat visits. If you're in a hurry and/or don't have time to come in and enjoy the atmosphere and great people, you can place an order at the drive-thru window (yes, it's oddly located in between the entrance of a men's clothing/suits store). read more

Come here ALL the time because they have protein for the shakes. The only thing I REALLY wish is they had better hours. I would come more often, but by the time I get there, the drive through is usually closed :( The cookies are really good too... But I do try to be good on my diet for the most part and really appreciate the variety of sugar free syrups they have. read more

I love this place! The employees are always friendly and helpful. The decor is cozy and it's quiet making it a great place to get some work done. I have tried several of the coffees on the menu and have really enjoyed every selection. I have also tried a few of the baked goods. They were delicious! This is a jewel of a place in a cute little town. The owner really runs a great coffee shop in a town that is sparsely populated with them. One star is being kind to this establishment. Ordered an iced skim mocha with half the chocolate and it tasted like chocolate milk. Not even a hint of espresso was detected. Very disappointed. I was researching a new place to get breakfast goodies, and this place checked off all the boxes. I actually thought I'd have a hard time choosing between scones or muffins. Yeah...they had 3 regular scones that were all apple & cinnamon flavored, and 4 small scones, 3 of which were also apple & cinnamon and 1 blueberry. I also saw two danish-type pastries. That's it. That is the extent of the food they had in the case. I thought since I had only been here once before a few years ago (tons of options that time) that I just didn't know where the treasure trove of deliciousness was stored. Alas, I was verbally advised that those few items were the extent of their offerings. I grabbed the small blueberry scone so I'd have something to eat this morning, but didn't bother with trying the hot chocolate like I intended. I've since been told by a friend (so can't confirm 100%) that this place is under a new owner and they just kept the name, so perhaps that is why the information I found was so misleading. read more

I like this place. My usual order is a caramel glacier latte made with sugar free syrup and no whipped cream. This drink is far better than Starbuck's light, sugar free caramel frappuccino. Unlike Starbucks, the coffee beans aren't burned at Rocky Mountain Cafe. I also like their everything bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese. I think they put bits of Parmesan cheese in their cream cheese which is awesome. Plus, no matter how busy they are, they never rush you to order and they're always friendly. read more
