We had an outstanding experience with Bill and the employees at Countertops by Superior. They came highly recommended from our contractor and it is clear why. Bill visited our home to measure and go over the different options for replacing our countertops and sink. He was able to provide me with a quote that day which outlined the work that would be done. We were able to visit the showroom that weekend as they have convenient hours on Saturday. We were impressed by the number of slabs they had available in the showroom for us to look at. We instantly fell in love with one pattern of granite and Bill and crew worked with us to ensure that we received that specific slab and scheduled our installation. The day of, the two men (I feel terrible that I can't remember their names) were amazing! They were so friendly, walked us through the installation process and cleaned up along the way so my house wasn't covered in dust. In addition to the fabulous countertops, we received a large, high quality sink that put our last sink to shame. They also gave us the sink protector grates, a basket drain and a 'hot plate' from the remaining granite. We were not expecting these bonuses and are so happy with them! In addition they had the forethought to put a piece of wood above our dishwasher so that it could be properly secured into place again. I highly recommend Countertops by Superior! I cannot say enough about Superior :) From start to finish the process was easy and enjoyable. When they templated and installed they were very neat, wore masks and made sure the work area was clean before they left. Charlene found me the slab for the island which was beyond perfect. I chose the leather finish which is amazing. The price was more than reasonable and the stone is amazing. I chose Taj Mahal which is an extremely expensive stone and Charlene was able to secure a good price for the slab. It's a hard to find stone, but she found it. Countertops by Superior is, by far, the best countertop store in the nation. I could end the review with that statement alone, but they deserve additional praise. My wife and I had been shopping for countertops for our newly renovated home. We visited several shops and found a few slabs we thought would fit our design but something wasn't right about each place we visited. Whether it was terrible customer service, no service at all, high prices, a la carte features and very few inclusions, our search was full of twists and turns that never materialized into a sale. That is, until we found Countertops by Superior. A family friend recommended them to us, and the day I walked into their building, I knew this was the place I had been searching for. Initially I spoke with CJ who was wonderful - knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient. She showed me around the building and we discussed options based on my design criteria. Bill at Superior is the best to work with! My husband and I chose to work with him after my parents had their kitchen and bath counter tops, and fireplace mantle re-done in granite. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly (not pushy). They are very conscientious and their prices are good. Ask about the remnant section if you want a small piece for a bathroom, etc. We found a beautiful piece for our bathroom and they did our window sills and shelf top to match for a great price! It started out bad, and we should have taken it as a sign to move along when we showed up during business hours before Labor Day weekend when they posted specific hours they would be open and they were not open. We contacted the owners and they were kind enough to come and assist us. While at the consult, it showed on his calculator that the price should be $427 but he told us it was $500 for the countertop, fair price. When we got the written quote it is suddenly $575. They also asked if we wanted them to source the vanity as we knew what we wanted but couldn't find a solid one. We said sure and that we would take it into account as they knew how the measurements would run etc. Shockingly, it came back at 1650 for the vanity. FOR A VANITY! I was born at night, but not last night. I dropped the photo of the vanity in google images and see I could get the same vanity at Home Depot for $560. Everyone needs to make a living but that is straight price gouging. Lastly, the part that makes me want to post here and let people know, when I called to ask to understand why and get an explanation he wouldn't get on the phone and gave the girl a line of they don't usually do it, and they need to guarantee it. 3X the price, I would warrantee it as well. If something went wrong they could just keep buying me a new vanity until it didn't fall apart. Please note it was $1650 PLUS the 575 for the countertop. We have hated our kitchen since we bought our house 13 years ago, mainly because of the old, laminate countertops. Well, we finishing up a kitchen makeover and our new granite countertop that we had installed by Countertops by Superior made it fantastic (pics to come). We stopped in on Columbus Day and were expecting to get quartz countertops, but then we saw the beautiful granite and learned it was actually less money! We were able to view all of the slabs in stock and were offered to go to the wholesalers if we didn't find anything we liked. We provided rough measurements and they sent us an estimate that day. We scheduled an appointment to get our counter measured and templated. The owner, Bill, came out and walked us through the entire process. He gave us some great suggestions and we were even able to get the breakfast bar we always wanted. On install day, they showed up promptly and got the new counters installed, leaving no mess. Right from our first call, to showroom visit, home review and measurements, material selections, and installation. All top notch professionals. They performed a turnkey approach not relying upon outside subcontractors to do their installations. We found Countertops by Superior during a large remodel job. The shop where we bought our kitchen cabinets utilizes a granite company much closer to us, but their prices and inventory were not good and they were not particularly helpful. After seeing good reviews, we contacted Charlene at Countertops by Superior and she was incredible! She helped us locate the type of granite we wanted and kept us well informed throughout the entire process. Charlene and Bill are true professionals and we were thrilled to find them. After they did such a great job with our kitchen granite we used them for the master bathroom granite also. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We just had countertops installed by Countertops by Superior. From the moment we walked in the door, they are very personable and make you feel very welcome. They walked us through the whole process. We just wanted to replace our countertops and not the backsplash. They told us all our options. Free sink was included. My mom really wanted to get everything in before Christmas and they had the whole thing turned around within a couple weeks - the installation happened in one day. During the installation, the workers were very friendly and personable. We asked lots of questions and they answered every one of them happily. They ran into issues pulling out our old countertops because of the way they were installed and they didn't let it bother them. They had to stay later than they thought and during the whole process of installation you could tell they thoroughly enjoyed what they were doing. When the install was finished, there was one part of our kitchen where our garage on our counter ended up not meeting the counter because of the different thickness and within minutes, another rep from the company came over to look it over. They took measurements. The next day the same man came by again just to double check his measurements and see how we liked everything to make sure we were satisfied. We thoroughly were! They were not charging us anything more than the estimate. That same day after the man came to double check the measurements, the owner of the place just stopped in to make a personal check to see how everything came out. He wanted to make sure we were happy without any concerns. He was telling us how their main concern is to have a personal experience with the customer (as things used to be in the old days before the world got very impersonal and non-caring). He was so kind and stayed just talking to us for a little about other things too. We could sense the genuine care that this company had in making their final product perfect and wanting to have that personal connection between the company and customer. The garage issue was taken care of swiftly and perfectly and very Kindly. Overall, we couldn't say more about how great this company is and definitely recommend them if you have any work you need done with your countertops or other work. A very personal company that makes sure the customer is extremely happy and gets everything they want. A genuinely great company to work with. Highly recommended.
