Valley Floor Covering has assisted us on two projects now, a kitchen vinyl floor and a bathroom tile floor. Without a doubt, we love the style, quality and craftsmanship of the kitchen floor they installed in 2022. However, they really shined when they stepped in for a 2024 bathroom project. When another company ran off and didn't finish our bathroom, Valley provided top-notch service. Marco took the time to point out everything the previous contractor had done wrong with our floor and the underlayment, and explained in full detail what the team would do to fix it. Susan worked with us to find a similar style of tile at a great price and at a much higher quality. They were very empathetic through the entire process. After the previous contractor destroyed the floor tile we purchased & never replaced it, Valley was able to work with their distributors to find a near-identical tile at a great price. The cost of their labor was also very fair -- they knew we were in a tight position and did everything they could to work with us, and we are so happy that Valley came in to help out. Valley tore out all the incorrectly done underlayment and debris left underneath. They leveled our floor out and made sure all the tiles were placed evenly. They worked so cleanly and left virtually no mess. Ben, our installer, went above and beyond, even putting in a single wall tile that the previous contractor had ignored. He was very personable and understanding of our situation. The previous contractor left us hung out to dry for 112 days in a single-bathroom house. We are happy to say that Valley Floor Covering has brought the bathroom project to a close, and they never cut corners. It was like night and day with the previous company. We replaced all of the tile on our ground floor. While they were backlogged several months and we had to wait, they showed up precisely on schedule and finished on schedule. Tearing up the old tile required using a jack hammer and making a great deal of dust, and they meticulously tented every area they worked in. No dust leaked into the rest of the house, and no dust got into surrounding bookcases or shelves. Watching them lay the tile was science in action, using a laser guide to ensure the tiles were precisely aligned and there was no variation from one end of a hallway through the entire floor of the house. In their finish work, there were no details too small to attend to. New moldings were produced, painted and caulked. It is impossible to tell they were torn out and replaced. My home is 118 years old and I don't need to tell you that I have run into all kinds of problems and have had several floors replaced. This time I had Valley Floor Covering replace my kitchen and den floors with LVP flooring. They went above and beyond just installing a floor. They found water damage around the sink area and fixed it better than I could have expected. They were professional and courteous. I can't say enough about the team from VFC. We decided that our fireplace needed a facelift so we went to see Marco at Valley Floors and this is what we came up with. When I saw the stacked stones I knew that was what I wanted. He and his team put new floors in for us and did a fabulous job so we knew the quality of work would be outstanding. This was not an easy job due to the structure of the fireplace and finding the blue slate for the hearth. Marco's brother Rui I did an outstanding job.
