The exterior isn't much, and neither is inside, however it's full of a lot of locals and super friendly staff. only one tap, bud light, but that works for me. The kids had grilled ham and cheese and tenders, with onion rings and fries - fantastic! I had the bbq burger, and honestly, it was fantastic! I ate the whole ptty, I usually save half for later, but I wanted to enjoy while it was still hot. It was great. Nice little local place. We were greeted promptly. It's a bar/diner. We both ordered the biscuits and gravy, only available on the weekends. We both got eggs over easy on top. My husband also got a side of sausage patties. Sausage was really good, reminded us of sausage when we were younger, light taste. The biscuits and gravy were okay. We both added some hot sauce. Maybe if they had some different biscuits? The gravy was nice and peppery. We want to come back and give the tenderloin or broasted chicken a try. All that food and we both had coffee, was less than $25 with tip. Great deal for the money. read more

Stopped in on a Tuesday night on the way to Beaver Lake. Have driven by many times and finally decided to grab some dinner. While we learned you cannot pull in off of HWY 75 because the gate is locked, you have to exit on Bay Rd and go past the truck service place. Typical bar and grill setup and they weren't very busy at the time we were there, but it did pick up as we were leaving. It appeared clean and the décor was fun...antique signs and such. Our waitress was welcoming and friendly, and service was great! I ordered the philly steak sandwich with a side salad. The salad was decent and the sandwich was good. While it was a bit greasy (one expects that at a bar and grill) it was tasty and tender. My dining partner ordered a burger and said it was great! All at a great price! I noticed they have a door off the main bar area that leads to an enclosed smaller bar which allows smoking and is heated in the winter. In addition there is covered outdoor seating on a patio. Loved this little dive bar on the side of the road. After spending a wonderful afternoon at the nearby Bay Hills golf course, we could not drive past this place without stopping. Accidentally wound up here because we were too early to a nearby outdoor concert and it was the best accident of the night. We had a group of 6 and everyone's food was perfect, everyone's drinks were great and the prices were ridiculously low. Service was very polite and pretty quick. I'm a big fan of cozy local cafes that haven't changed over time and this place delivers. The first thing I noticed walking in is that everyone seems to know each other and were carrying on to all stop and acknowledge the new people then go back to carrying on. A "Hi how's it going" to a few folks and we were immediately part of the local family with them asking where we're from what's going on and what not. I understand to some this might be intimidating but I find it refreshing and wholesome and very much enjoyed visiting and laughing with the locals. Before you know it you're in on them ribbing each other. Great people. Now the food, the mashed potatoes are not instant and perfectly made and I'd swear the corn was cut directly from the cobb. But the real stunner was the tenderloin. Fantastic! Unbelievably tender and freshly made to order in minutes. Give it a minute or so once they bring it out because it's hot. From the Plattsmouth community, I heard that this place served the best burger in town. Since everyone gave it rave reviews, I decided to go check it out. The first time that I went there, I ordered mini taco appetizers, a side salad, a cheeseburger and fries. The mini taco appetizers were typical bar food, just something that you pop in the microwave. The side salad was iceberg lettuce with some purple cabbage/carrots, exactly like you'd get at Arby's or any fast food establishment. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give my cheeseburger a 6. It wasn't anything magnificent, but it wasn't too bad. The fries were average fast food type. This visit was in the middle of the week and they were not too busy. Our wait time wasn't too bad and the owner waited on us, and appeared to be nice. I decided to try this place again on a Saturday night, and that was a mistake. A lot of people sitting and waiting for food. A lot of people that appeared to know each other and were friends. It was more like everyone was there to visit and didn't care how long it took for their dinner. There was an overworked and crabby waitress, not the owner this time. They forgot our appetizers and it took an hour to get a cheeseburger. They said yes, it's real busy on Saturday nights and that's the way it is, simple as that. They did not offer to re-fill our drinks. We kept trying to catch the waitress to give us a drink refill and couldn't get her. This time the burgers were crispy on the outside, but the inside was not done. We were pretty disappointed. I would say if you want a quick lunch bite in the middle of the day and you're looking for a fast food burger, go ahead. I would not recommend visiting on a Friday/Saturday night or when there are a lot of vehicles in the parking lot. read more
