I found some really nice key rings upstairs on sale and they have made fun gifts for family and friends. My spouse is a librarian and Black's sells a variety of games and toys that add so much to a library. Location is great and even during peak seasons, like spring and summer, we've always found parking within walking distance. The customer service is friendly and helpful and they have some good sales and clearance items too. On our most recent visit on Veteran's Day, we found some winter gloves and a gift for a friend. On a postcard and would change color I BELIEVE from BLUE to an ORANGISH color 'when a change is due'. The Hansel and Gretel Shop carried them as well. I still have some of my Cats Meow wooden 'structures' of Blacks (of course), Julie's Dress Shop, Melvin Village Church and Calefs. It was great fun to go by boat to get the Sunday paper, at LEAST one pack of gum/candy to split between us kiddos and then enough donut holes from the Yum Yum Shop to last the boat ride back to 19 Mile Bay and then MAYBE one bag for family that did not go on the boat ride!! This shop also features JJ's Breakfast & Lunch Counter which offers casual dining and takeout. This place is a tribute to the former JJ Newberry's store with lunch counter from back in the day. I stopped by New Berry's to browse after eating lunch at JJ's Counter. This place sort of reminds me of Capitol Craftsman in Concord where handcrafted goods, jewelry and artwork are also sold. I did pickup up some cool glasses to wear in a couple of weeks, wink. I will have to stop back when the weather gets warmer.

She said to them multiple times "excuse me" to ask about there over priced products that I was looking to purchase for her. I assume it was the 2 owners they were talking loudly and paying no attention to us as if we didn't exist. I made meaningful eye contact with them a couple times also to no response. After I finally raised my voice to a loud level to show my irritation we were finally asked how they could help? At this point I decided that these gentlemen did not want our business and handed back the 8 dollar card and let them know we were all set. I'm not going to say we have spent thousands or even hundreds but we definitely would have came back if we were treated well. Im sure my negative review will be followed by an arrogant rude response from said owner letting me know that my polite 8 year old and I were in the wrong please proceed with your arrogant response.

You get this pathetic excuse of a store. The BBB not finding in my favor is not a thing. That is not what they do. They contact the company and there is no actual finding but a mediator before court. I made it very clear I want my money back which I have still not received back. Now I'm going to go after thousands in court for misuse of my personal data. I'm still going to court to get my money back and falsely using my information to file a fake police report with my private information which is not what that was intended by my personal information. As I've stated this is the worst comic book store in the world and they should and will be shut down. Filing a false police report because someone says they're going to go to Court doesn't constitute a threat. They purposefully lied to me about the value of my trade it. Then misused my information to discredit me.
