I called Manny Landscaping to do a job on my father's property. I live out of town and could not…read moremeet him there. Manny went to the property and took pictures to show me. I was surprised at how overgrown everything was. Manny was able to remove tree parts that were cut down previously, groom a VERY overgrown bush back to its original shape, clean up flower beds and mow the lawn that hadn't been mowed for the season! He sent me pictures all throughout the process to reassure me the work was being done. He did a great job on the property. I would recommend him and will continue to use his services.

Bryan kept in touch to accommodate my schedule. The work of Albert, Bryan, and another worker they brought was outstanding. They listened to every request I had and continuously asked that I made sure the work met my expectation. It not only met my expectation but exceeded what I expected. We loan the keys then close the door without locking it. They removed the snow ok. However... At about 9:30p, we can hear a woman's voice seemingly inside our house. She was calling to us through our house by opening the kitchen door in the foyer. When we got out to the kitchen, this 50ish woman was standing in the foyer, facing to the side, with our kitchen door somewhat...open! She opened our closed door with no permission. She did not have the professionalism to just knock and wait. She left quickly when I started calling her out for it. This isn't the first time they've done something unpleasant. One time they moved our two trash buckets as far away from the house as possible and left them there. They were not thorough in their work during the warmer weather, only once in late fall after the Plantain lilies looked a mess all fall. And that was only after we threatened to withhold payment after they had weeds around them for months. They let weeds grow all summer. They broke a lawn stake light and just let us find it. In our experience, they overcharge for what they actually do, and then are usually insufficient. Who told this woman from Gramp's to even touch our door knob? We got a no trespass order. Thanks, but NO THANKS, Gramp's! Edit: An additional star was given for the plow job, and additional details were added for clarity.

My…read morewife scheduled an appointment for Jim to "open" our in-ground irrigation system for the season, and install a new control panel. He didn't show. He didn't call to reschedule. We called him and made a second appointment for the following weekend. Again he didn't show. We called him and he said he was on another call and could he "come by later." Unfortunately we were not available "later" and asked if he could please keep the appointment we had made. He did appear and gave us just enough time to test the different zones in our system. We made a third appointment for him to install the new control panel. He arrived late, and without the proper hardware. He then left to pick up the missing parts, and did not return for over four hours, after I had called to ask him if he actually planned on returning. He managed to show up at the tail end of the afternoon, did a half-assed job installing the new controller, then left without finishing the job (he neglected to bring a final part). The next day he texted me to say he had left his sunglasses on our property and that he would return to finish the ob "later this week." Two weeks later I texted him to ask if he actually planned on returning. He assured me, once again, that he would be here during the following week. He didn't. At this point we have given up on good od Jim and told him not to bother. Lesson learned, Bottom line, anyone who hires this a$$hole gets what they deserve. He doesn't keep his appointments, he does a lousy job when he does show, and you can't trust him farther than you can throw him. He should be run out of town.
