Spent a little less than a week RV camping there and it was amazing. Staff were nice. Clean facilities, clean grounds. It was great having easy river access. Was nice to walk around. Felt safe at night. I would stay again. read more

Negative stars, manager is awful, pool closed early, tried to charged double, and kids kicked out of park area early. When addressed told "I know who you are" however, never met or seen this person. Would never return after 10 years of going to this camp ground with over 15 families. read more

Nice place to pitch a tent but don't expect to get a good nights sleep. Both nights we camped it was like a free for all. Loud people around 1-3am, a generator at one of the river side sites RUNNING ALL NIGHT!! People have no respect, this is not camping, it's an embarrassment. read more

A hidden gem! If you're looking for something hidden away in the beautiful wilderness for "good old fashioned" camping with fun things do (a splash pad, family sized pool and deck with chairs, an on site tiny store, picnic table, games, etc) all on the Rum River to kayak or tube down (they have that too) you'll LOVE this place! There are many camping options from a covered wagon to tent sites to hookups and more! Check it out!! P.S. me and my family have been going to country camping for over 8 years. We are so impressed when we come each and every year their are so many fun things to do like tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding they even have a doggy park, a pool and a splash pad. You can also swim and fish in the river. They have an arcade room which is my second favorite spot to hangout. They have a park that has volleyball and basketball courts they have a cute little store that hits the camping weekend vibe they also do karaoke on Saturdays which is awesome we even rented a golf cart for a weekend and had a blast this place is amazing I could not recommend or even think about camping anywhere else besides country camping this place is our home away from home read more

6/23/19. Just got back from camping and can't wait to go again!!!! The kayaking was wonderful on the sandy Rum River. Bathrooms are nice, very clean, nice showers. Sadly I didn't make it to the heated pool, next time! The campground is clean and very few bugs . I didn't get to the Saturday afternoon craft but wish I could of made it, I was on the river. I didn't make the Saturday night karaoke because I was tired from kayaking. There's so much to do!!!! There's a cute little store on grounds too. I met the owners of the campgrounds, very kind and welcoming. I recommend this campground and can't wait to go again!!! read more

Beautiful campground. Very clean and peaceful. The pool is the perfect temperature and clean. We saw a lot of wild animals which was awesome for the kids. Only complaint is that I wish they had more trees for shade at the campsites and near the playground. read more

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Management is terrible, with very poor communication and a horrible attitude, without the ability to accomplish basic customer service. Their website clearly indicates that "pets are welcome" yet, when I arrived, they told me that I could not have my two (very small and very well behaved) dogs there with me, since we were visiting our family that was staying there. I was told that I was being extremely rude and presumptuous by "assuming" that my pets would be allowed in someone else's home, without asking (even though the website clearly indicates that pets are allowed, and does not have any conditions other than "pet etiquette" be followed while pets are on site). The story is different, however, if you are renting a campsite, as many dogs were observed on site during our visit. The campsite itself is very crowded, the facility is not well marked, and the road leading into the facility is in desperate need of repair. The bathrooms are abhorrent, are small, and rarely replenished with basic necessities (toilet paper, soap, etc) and had not been stocked for over 36 hours (as indicated by our family who were staying), despite management being notified of the problem. Prices are exorbitantly high, and "added fees" are the norm. Not only is a deposit required, you are charged a fee for: the site upon arrival; each person staying; visitors (even if only for a couple hours); and each vehicle on site. This is the worst experience I have had at any camping facility, although it seemed to be kept fairly clean read more

Had our annual Girls Camping Weekend on 7/24 and 7/25. Campground was nice and clean. Restrooms were very nice, showers great. Getting signed up and ready for tubing was virtually stress free. Great price for the camping. We did have a reservation issue when we arrived. Someone had switched our camp site to a less desireable one. They made it right though. River was nice, a little low and lots of trees and logs. So be careful and wear shoes. All and all a very good trip. Very accommodating. Oh, and if you see Miles, tell him the girls said hi! And don't forget to tip this kid. He was one of the best workers I've encountered in a long time. read more

We were super excited to float down the river. We got there at noon because we prepared to go down twice. The young man did not know what he was doing when we registered and it appeared they were not organized. We waited for 1.5 hours to go down the river. We finished, wanting to go down one more time and they refused to let us go. We will never be back. I will tell people to find a new river. Figure it out. It wasn't even a peek time to go. read more

We went to go tubing with a group of 4. We got there around 11:45, and were told it would be about an hour, which we were fine with. We waited for over two hours, and finally asked for our money back at 2:45, when the lady calling out group numbers told us we were, "five buses back." The people issuing refunds were pretty nice, but one teenager told us it would be "like 15 min" (busses were coming every 30-40 min). They also lost one set of our keys and didn't seem in a hurry to try to find them or make it right. After our refund, they indicated they had a bus break down which was why there was a delay. I get issues happen, but no one came around and told any paid customers. I've been to several other tubing places much busier than this one and have never had such a long wait. I believe they need more tubes and more busses to make this a viable business. Perhaps if that's not something they want to do, they should have more clear communication and/or a "cut off" when they get to a certain number of people. As someone who worked in customer service for several years, communication and service recovery would have gone a long way with us. We got our money back (thankfully), and we'll never be back. Which again, is unfortunate because had it been a good experience (even with a delay but proper communication), we would have come back with more people, throughout the summer. read more

This place was very disorganized. We went up for a four hour canoe trip down the rum river. After we'd already paid and boarded the shuttle, and dropped two other people off, it turned out that the shuttle driver didn't even know we were doing the canoe trip and not the tubing trip. Then, after she let off the tubers without giving them any warning, she told us that the deer flies had just hatched and that the 4 hour trip was going to be miserable. She told us that normally when the deer flies hatch they shut down for two weeks. (Yet, for some reason, they hadn't this time?) We ended up doing just a one hour trip (which was miserable on its own). When we passed the other people who had ridden on the shuttle with us, they had been swarmed by the deer flies. We at least had warning. I felt so bad for them. The river itself was lovely, but the organization of this place was shoddy at best. Do not recommend. read more
