Prices are what you'd expect from a tourist location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to get food and beverages. Definitely worth the trip, but I understand it's absolutely packed on weekends. I have some mobility issues, but there are plenty of places to sit. I think most of the grounds are accessible for a wheelchair or baby carriage, but the ground is a bit uneven in places so you need to be careful. One thing to note is that most shops are not really wheelchair accessible, nor can they accommodate a stroller, although some have ramps. The shops are quite full of merchandise, so it would be hard to move around with a wheelchair or stroller.

This location also has a bed-and-breakfast which I thought was neat. There was also plenty of parking. I made two purchases, one was from LEH Soap and I got a room spray. There were ships' lanterns (both antique and reproduction), cast-iron mermaids, furniture made from hatch covers, ships' wheels in a variety of sizes, bags of fish netting, old photos, old navigational tools, nautical signs, and various other nautical themed antiques and merchandise, all displayed in an un-cluttered shop so that customers can actually see them. The proprietor was helpful, and knew her merchandise. And one really nice thing is that the tags on items made it clear whether they were genuine antiques or reproductions. Seafarer is NOT trying to fool customers into thinking that a modern reproduction is and antique item, which I, for one, really appreciate. It's worth a stop if you are in the area.

I didn't say anything but I'm sure I looked surprised. Someone behind the counter called "you have to order online." But I was right there with credit card in hand. It was cold and sleeting outside. The store wasn't crowded. Is this any way to run a business? I have always felt the people in this stor were snotty. But they have several teas that i enjoy, so i put up with it....until yesterday. ..That was the last time I'll spend any money in that shop. I don't know how they have survived with this attitude. I went next door to the bakery, got some coffee and some pastries, along with smiles and a pleasant attitude...and spent my money there.
