I bought a tool that when I used it for the first time came apart and actually hurt me. I brought…read moreit in, it was obviously their tool, they had me in their computer and told me they would not replace it because it was more than 30 days. I explained that i was not returning it because i had a change of mind, it was obviously distorted (not fit for its purpose/defective). They did not care! This was dangerous, they don't stand behind their tools. I actually got hurt from this tool and didn't complain about it. Now, instead of switching it out, I still have the defective tool. Hmmmm!

Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

The abusive language that I witnessed is absolutely unacceptable for any business around customers…read more The way the managers use profanity around each other and the way they talk about each female that walks in the store is absolutely unacceptable. I watched coworkers lift lawn mowers without a forklift or a pallet jack, that is not safe, correct or right In any way shape or form. Don't even get me started on the parking lot.And how dirty it is, what is going on that people are just throwing their trash on the ground and not picking up after themselves.
