Great beautiful bouquets from a florist that is legit LOCAL. ***see my "rant" below about fake "local" florists I don't live in the 495/midwest corridor, but I have elderly unwell family members who do, who we've been sending flowers to more than usual. So, since I don't live nearby, Country Garden was recommended by a friend of a friend of the family, and after ordering from them a few times now, I feel like I can trust them from afar even though I've never set foot in their store. They come through with the delivery quickly, and because they are actually local, they have been able to find tricky addresses. They have never screwed up our note that goes with the flowers, and they text you a photo of the flower arrangement so that you see what's getting delivered. We sent two different arrangements recently and both people were really pleased. They both made a point of telling me about how long the flowers lasted. I mean, can't really think of anything more I'd want from a florist. ***I've almost gotten scammed by those weird fake aggregate florists, when you google "florist in town" and a bunch of "local" numbers pop up, with "local" addresses. Someone answers, takes your order, wants to take your money, but you're actually ordering from some random flower drop-shipper. They have cheesy looking arrangements online, which end up coming from of Telaflora or somewhere, so you can't request particular flowers or customize anything, and the prices are as high or higher than a real local florist. And then you have no way of knowing what the hell gets delivered, how long it'll take, and if the flowers are really fresh or not. It's like ordering fast food flowers when you want farmers market flowers. Twice, I've almost gone through with the payment, but something just didn't seem right, so I hung up. The 2nd time I started asking the lady if she knew the street I was asking about and she kept saying, oh yes, we are around the corner from that street. Meanwhile, that street does not exist anywhere in that town! So now I'm really careful about finding a local florist who is actually local. And Country Garden fits the bill! read more

I received an arrangement which was delivered without notice in my garage which we found the next day (no call) and it was frozen. My aunt sent it to encourage me in my cancer treatment. My aunt is a flower nut and had many specific requests. The arrangement was just "fine", nothing special at all. And frozen. The owner of this shop was offensive and unkind to my mom when she called to discuss what happened. He actually said "I'm done with you" and ended the call. Totally unacceptable. I'm very sorry that he did that and that I have to write this review. I would not waste money and time on purchasing anything from them again. I don't know how they continue in business with that kind of management. read more

A gorgeous, absolutely massive arrangement of flowers arrived at my doorstep when they said they would. They came in a vase with water and some wonderfully delicious chocolates. The flowers are super fresh and have lasted 9 (!!!) days so far and are still beautiful. We have been changing the water every 2 days and adding aspirin. Two days ago, I added sugar and apple cider vinegar along with the aspirin and I cut the stems diagonally on any stems that did not look as good. Result was that the last lily bulb opened up yesterday. It was on a stem with two other lilies. Maybe 10% of the flowers have died so far and I removed them, but the bunch is very full still. By the way, the flowers, especially the lilies, smell incredible. Yes, I have enjoyed the flowers way more than my wife has. I am buying some for me next time! read more

We used Country Garden Florists to provide flowers for our wedding in late July in Sterling, MA. We had originally reached out to a different vendor for flowers. That vendor ultimately ended up letting us down (about 5 weeks before the wedding). Country Garden Florists were able to help us in that short amount of time to recreate everything we had wanted. We told them what we wanted (mostly normal stuff, except for our elevated centerpieces), and they told us "no problem", and they made it happen. The centerpieces were beautiful! All of the bouquets for the bridesmaids, parents, and bride, as well as all of the bouts for myself, and my groomsmen matched our colors, and accented everything perfectly. They also delivered the centerpieces to the reception venue, and delivered the personal flowers to the hotel where everyone was getting ready. From a service standpoint, they were top-notch. They were incredibly nice, and got everything right. We were so happy that we ended up working with them. read more

This should say "Excellent" and not just Great. When I lived in the Clinton area, I always used Country Gardens for my floral needs because I felt they produced beautiful arrangements. I was never disappointed! But I want to post this review because they went over and beyond with my recent order. A few years back I moved to TN, so when I needed a funeral arrangement, I immediately thought to call Country Gardens. I had a strange request. I asked if it were at all possible to do a fish theme for this funeral arrangement. It was an inside joke with the deceased that his family was well aware of, and I knew it would bring a smile to them. The owner said she would be going to Target that afternoon, and she said she would see what she could fine. That in itself was impressive that she would do that, but when the final arrangement was completed, she took a picture of it and sent it to me. In talking with her, she took the time to go to Cabelas just to find something that would make this something special. I was told that the family laughed when they saw the arrangement because it was so meaningful to them. How amazing is that knowing that the owner took the time to go out of her way for my request. I'm sure she had no idea how much it would mean to me and the family, but she still went over and beyond to fulfill my request. I saw an arrangement at a venue and took a picture of it thinking someday I would want to have something similar done. Karen did an amazing job and in fact, from just viewing a picture, made it identical to what I had requested. Country Gardens Florist & Gifts, Clinton MA. Had to find a gift bag last minute and found this pretty hip floral shop (thinking some type of wrapping paper maybe if no gift bags etc..) In a rush I looked around and was lucky to encounter a cheerful and helpful salesperson/designer, I think her name is Karen? Anyway she was helpful pointing me in the right direction as I explained my situation and thought ok no gift bags but how about a basket?? So, a few minutes later I came out with a nice little basket with grass, cellophane paper and some ribbon to match the color of the wrapping of one of the items. It was perfect :) Since this was an errand for someone I only knew the size of the item but it worked out great. :) Thank you for providing me with thinking outside the bag and a clever presentation last minute at a very reasonable price. I did see many beautiful things but didn't have time to browse. I will be back to shop since I have an event coming up. I bought a corsage for my son's prom here. The flowers were fresh and pretty. Unfortunately one of the flowers fell off the corsage early in the evening. Things happen and I understand humans are not perfect so I went back to the store the next day. The store was closed but Sally opened the door because she remembered me. She was really great about the corsage issue. She was professional and apologetic and explained she is training a new employee. That's the sign of a great business when they acknowledge and respond to customer issues and concerns. I'm sure she'll handle the employee error because she immediately took responsibility. Sally offered to make things right and I was completely satisfied. I will definitely shop here again because this store has integrity and provides excellent customer satisfaction. read more

The most HORRIBLE customer service I have ever experienced, I made an online choice based on the date I needed it delivered, online it looked like an orchid plant, which was fine if it was not, I just needed a nice arrangement to be delivered to an associate that had been with our company for 20 years, which they were aware of! We traded emails, I asked them to move forward with a cut flower arrangement - which by the way they only had 3 flowers to choose from and ceramic garden dish that they would never send me a picture of- then I get an email that they cancelled my order because I was said I was disappointed I was not getting the original arrangement I ordered online, after specially telling them to move forward with a different cut flower arrangement. I asked the day the order was to be delivered why they did not move forward like I told them to the day before, they told me to go to another florist at 12:30 -she kept calling me the name of the person the flowers were being delivered to, I have never been treated so badly by any business and needless to say they could care less my order was not delivered to my associate, knowing there was no way at that time to get another ordered delivered from another florist.
