EXTREMELY POOR, downright NASTY customer service. Called to simply cancel our service because of unauthorized bank debits/overcharges and inconsistency of service. I was threatened with legal action for doing so. The owner then called back, out of control, telling me to listen to HIM and YELLED the worst obscenity a person could call a woman, calling me an f-ing c-word, then hung up! I would NOT recommend to my worst enemy. One star is WAY TOO MUCH, but I had to fill in something... Reported to our bank and the Better Business Bureau. when I called to request a ten yard container and asked if I could get it by Monday I was told that they had none available but could rent me a 15 yard container and have it there by Monday, so I paid for the higher priced container because I was in a jam. Container arrived on time and was placed exactly where I need it. I received a phone call asking if I needed a pickup which I didn't need yet, because it was bigger than what I needed. Then the Friday before last I got home to find the container was gone I thought maybe my contactor called to remove it, so I call him, he said no and that he still needed it. So I checked my phone for messages and found that I received two calls. One stating that if I need a pick up to please call, so I assumed maybe they came to dump it for me, then I heard second message telling me if I didn't call by 5 they were taking the container. Being 5:15 on Memorial weekend I didn't call back thinking they would be closed for the weekend. I was very busy Tuesday and forgot to call so on Wednesday I messaged them that the contract stated only if I called would the container be picked up and asked how could they fix this. No reply to my email.No call and no email. customer service isn't important to them. I was charged $5 a day after the ten days I had it for a month due to contractor scheduling issues. I would say by how I, a paying customer was treated, if they can make more money off of someone else kiss your container good bye. They didn't reply to a private email maybe this will get reply. I rarely leave a review, but Gelinas definitely deserves my personal one! First off, thank you for the great service up until......it's that being said. I called to tell them I was moving and wanted to either cancel my lease(which I was told I couldn't at that time) or transfer it into my ex's name(which we were then told she'd have to start a whole new lease over!) Well, I moved out of state like I told them I was doing months before hand, and several months later they still continue to call/email me telling me that the dumpster is still at my exs house and they wont be getting it until I pay in full for the months I didnt even live in that state! Not to mention the fact that they're trying to charge me the full amount for a job that wasnt even done! Trash was NOT picked up twice a week, yet you still try to charge me for said job! Needless to say, I believe the dumpster is still there, and they're still trying to charge me!!!!! Lol, I don't know about this business, but I do know one thing for sure, and that's if I stopped paying on an item that I'm renting/leasing from any other business I deal with they would be picking that item up as soon as payments stopped! I've used Gelanis for dumpster services, and I've bought flowers for planting as well as mulch/dirt, etc. ALWAYS great customer service! So much so that I'm considering Lawn Maintenance services. In my opinion, Gelanis is an excellent company! read more

Don't know what happened in 2013 but we've only had positive experiences with Gelinas. We use the trash services for about a year now and they've been 100% reliable. We use them for mulch, topsoil and compost delivery. Our riotous bed of coneflowers (purchased and planted at the end of last season) came from there, also. All of the 5 or 6 employees we've dealt with have been pleasant, helpful and professional. We'd recommend them to anyone who asked. read more
