I'm driving from Bear to get there, so placing the order in person really isn't an option. For 7 adults, the order would have been over $100. Certainly not a small order. Checking out the new (to me) website, I saw orders can now be placed online. SCORE! Or so I thought. Mind you, this is not delivery, it's a pick up order; but the total charge didn't add up...so... I looked closer... They charge a "convenience fee", the same fee I would expect for delivery. To be clear, I'm saving your employees from answering the phone, writing down the order, and hoping they got it right. Right? You should be giving me a discount, if anything. Not penalizing me... Sorry. There's a great cheesesteak right across the street from you and they were happy to get my order. I still had to call it in but they're so darn friendly over there, I didn't mind. The food is consistently excellent, and the cooks are hardworking, friendly, and always seem to take pride in what they do. My only concern is with a woman who has recently been working there and appears to be a manager(maybe). On a few of my recent visits, I've observed her correcting and reprimanding the cooks in front of customers in a way that comes across as disrespectful and demeaning. These are hardworking adults who deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect--not embarrassed publicly. Constructive feedback should happen privately. Publicly criticizing employees can hurt morale and create an uncomfortable atmosphere for both the staff and customers. I hope management addresses this, because the cooks and the quality of the food are what keep me coming back.

All the ingredients for the cheesesteak were top notch, but as always, I would have preferred less cheese and more onions. There are four or maybe five stools for eating inside; otherwise you have to take it outside where they have a couple of tables out front. We did that. As we were finishing our meal, Sonny himself came out and asked how it was. Super super nice guy who obviously takes a ton of pride in what he does. I recommend this place with no hesitation.
