Luck would bring us this direction. Hunger would bring us in. 100% recommend. Parking is shared with residents, but you can get in and step right up to the counter to order. We got in a few people ahead of us. It's a deli. You can get sliced meat and cheeses here. They have a hot menu and cold cuts menu. You order your sandwich and then grab your chips and drink. All items separate. We ordered a sandwich to share. A 20in Phillidalphia cheese steak. She asked what we wanted on it, and I asked her right back what she would put on it. She said everything. Done. We took a seat since we were eating in. Maybe about 12 seats inside. Right by the deli chiller, or the windows is what you get. It's not meant to be fancy as they are focused on food. Due to the rush, it took a few minutes, but it was served up soon. I was in shock. She had split it into 2 10-inch subs, and I couldn't believe how much food it was. Had to wait a few for it to cool. 4.9 rating on google maps. I was expecting the 4.9 to be an inflated rating by The Garrison Apartments residents that regularly visit the Garrison deli. I am very happy to say this is a good little spot. It was early so I got a Scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich. Two eggs and a good amount of scrapple. I like that they slice the scrapple thin and then double stack it on the sandwich. The Scrapple adds a lot of crispiness to the sandwich. It was a one man show the day I went. He may not be the fastest but he does a very good job and the regulars seem to like him. I almost forgot $5.99. You know I like that. read more

Basic, gets the job done. The only non chain place offering breakfast in town. You have to really specify your order and repeat it back to the guy at least twice. I've left here numerous times with messed up orders, missing items etc. Most of the time it's a one man show so I try to have patience. Parking here is the worst part, you're either on the street risking an accident or up in the apartment rent area. Not easy to figure out. read more

Ok, everyone. Come here. My wife and I dropped in yesterday when we had a flight cancelled and we had to drive from Boston down to Raleigh NC. So midway through our 15 hour drive we got off the highway to avoid some traffic and found this place. And boy were we in for a treat. I was annoyed, had decision fatigue so I asked the lovely gentleman behind the counter what was his favorite, and he said he liked the italian. So I said, "gimme that then." Order it. Get it. Garrison Deli is a very nice local deli in the neighborhood where I stayed at during my job assignment. Decided to order take out for lunch for work. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich as well as a Cuban sandwich. The pastrami was absolutely delicious. Half pound of Pastrami with stone ground mustard and slices of pickles on rye bread. Very well complimented and the mustard gave it a great zing to it. The Cuban sandwich was also good even though the pork slices are kinda missing. If it ain't from a Cuban place the taste and form is very different however good risk taking. read more

My family was on a road trip back home from NYC to DC and we found this deli via Yelp. It's located on the ground floor of an apartment/condo complex, and there's parking just behind and to the side of the business. The menu is varied enough that everyone easily found something to choose. I got the turkey club on rye (pictured), it was really good and the turkey was sliced nice and thin. The bacon was still warm from being crisped. My husband got an Italian sandwich he really enjoyed. My older son got a turkey & cheese sandwich that was piled very high with nicely thin-sliced meat and a good amount of cheese. My youngest son got the bacon zilla burger (plain because he's boring) and really liked it. There's a really good selection of drinks and chips as well. We were extremely pleased with the food, the service was very attentive and the seating area was clean. I'm not sure if we'll be back this way again but if we are, we'd definitely eat here again! read more

Hard to find as it's in residential building. Also unsure about parking. the person who prepared my sandwich was very pleasant. All around nice gentlemen. All the ingredients were in small portions. Not just the meat as most would expect. The size of the sandwich is small. They mustard the onion the pickle , tomato all were there but I could not taste them at all . not enough ingredients. Truly grossed out just being in this place. The apartment building that it's in looks nice so I don't know how this place is so unkempt.
