We will pay more for Canadian or do without until we find Canadian grown produce, or failing that, ABUS, Anywhere But United States. We are extremely disappointed in the seemingly increasing amount of US products we are seeing at LFM, and the number of people who grab them without looking or caring. This is supporting a country that is trying to wipe Canada off the map, and own us. We refuse to help them. We're bringing this to the attention of our friends and we're all looking for other places to buy our produce until LFM puts more support into Canadian growers and less into the US. Until then, we'll be avoiding what has been our favourite produce store. And that is really unfortunate.

There are 10 covered shelters with picnic tables and you are assigned a picnic table when you arrive. Everything is self serve - including the cooking griddle, burners, utensils, foods etc. You grab all the food including meats from the fridge, and any extras (rice, soup stew, veggies, seaweed, corn cheese etc) and let the couple running the show know which tent # tab to add the items on, then you square up at the end. For banchan, there was fermented perilla leaves, lettuce, ssamjang, fermented garlic, regular garlic, onion salad, and kimchi. All the veggies are grown on their farm and you can walk around and check out where it's growing, very cool! They were growing peppers as well! The meat was fresh and we loved the relaxing outdoor picnic vibe. There's no time limit on your stay so you could talk the evening away... a playground is also on site for those that want to bring kids, and on-leash dogs are allowed! There's two picnic tables per shelter so you could easily fit 8 people, up to 12 for a cozier vibe. A very fun experience just 30 minutes outside of Burnaby, or about an hour from downtown Vancouver. Definitely check it out!

If you buy meat here, the butcher will take you to the counter and have the payment process there. I shop here quite frequent and have tried many different types of their meat already. I do find that they sometimes have really good deal if you sign up for their newsletter. There was this one time I was here shopping and I decided to grab my meat first and I told the butcher that I am going to do other shopping and will be back to pay. The other butcher saw the meat sitting at the cashier and put it back. When I went to pay, it was not there but the butcher apologized and didn't realize that I was going to come back. The butcher also gave me two free complementary pork chops. That was really nice of him. So it is better to do all your shopping first and save the meat visit last. I like this place and definitely will be back.

The store is tucked away in an industrial complex, but offers some of the best deals on marinated…read moremeats, pretzels and home made sausages in their production plant (behind the store). Its a busy place, but well worth the wait. Especially with the higher quality of the chicken. The clusters are made of dark chocolate, pecans, almonds, coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and quinoa. The clusters in the bag are in a variety of sizes but can easily be broken to an appropriate serving. The chocolate covering is definitely a quality dark chocolate. The other ingredients provide a nice crunch but are not easily identifiable. The nutritional information for a half cup serving (28g) are 150 calories and only 4 net carbs. There is 13 g of fat with 0g Trans fats. There is 3g of dietary fiber, and 3g of protein. All of this goodness and only 50mg of sodium. I'm sold that if I'm craving a real decadent dessert this product satisfies my craving. I've replaced my empty bag with a new 16oz bag purchased at Sam's Club.
