As soon as my son was done with the trial lesson, he begged me to start the lesson which we did. My son comes twice a week for an hour each. You are free to wait inside or come back later. The place is conveniently located near many restaurants and a grocery store. There are 4-5 instructors (they are called Sensei) available each time so it's great to know that if my son has any questions, there will always be a Sensei to help him. The place is clean and there are 2 doors before any kids can exits the place so it's great to know that my son is safe inside. Owner is very nice, helpful and accommodating. I am so amazed he can memorize all the kids and parents' names. Must be some kind of talents to be able to do that

I don't know much about hair coloring or highlights, so I explained the look I wanted and even showed a Pinterest picture for reference. My appointment was at 9:30 AM, but the consultation and color mixing alone took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The first highlight wasn't even applied until almost the second hour of my appointment. When the highlights were finally done, they turned out extremely light -- almost blonde -- which was shocking because that's not what I asked for. The instructor had to step in and help correct and even out the color. This is also not my first unpleasant experience with one particular Latina instructor with dark hair. Both times I've been there, she has been very rude and rough while handling my hair. Her long nails scratched my forehead multiple times, and she pulled and grabbed my hair very aggressively. When I politely asked her to be more gentle, her response was, "I'm just trying to make it fast." To be fair, the final results didn't turn out bad after they corrected the color, but I didn't leave until 4 PM for a 9:30 appointment. I've previously been to Tricoci University, and they were much friendlier, more professional, and much quicker with their services. I wanted to give Empire another chance, but the instructor's attitude and behavior made the entire experience stressful and uncomfortable. Sadly, I won't be going back.

The first time I had made an appointment, when I showed up, salon services were not even open! Today they said there was no appointment for me. I showed them my phone with the call on it. They didn't think it was the right number. When I hit redial, their phone rang. So that was the difficult part. The good news is Nareni did have time to cut my hair. She was kind, thoughtful, and did a great job. So in the end, everything did work out. She was so good that I already booked my next appointment. I am seeing a response to a negative review that says instructors keep a close eye on students. Not true in my case. There was no instructor to monitor my cut. I'm not sure where they were, but I didn't see anybody. I am grateful that I did end up getting a good cut with a very pleasant student.

Not only do you learn SO much cool information about how flights work, the plane, weather and so much more, but being in the plane for an hour getting to ACTUALLY fly the plane is an unbelievable life experience! I also love that you get to bring a passenger and if you can continue on with more flight lessons too. Absolutely one of the coolest and best things to do in Chicago! Everything went smooth at first with the 30 hr classroom part, but the behind the wheel registration was impossible to do. Customer Service was completely useless and super rude too. They said we had to book it early which I agreed to at first but then when I checked at 6 AM on the day more spots opened up nothing at all showed up. I called them again and they the audacity to tell me to check earlier next time. I paid around $850 for this and they make it this hard to get a single class. My son hasn't done a single drivers class keep that in mind. On the day of the final I was told by customer service that my son could take it another day since he had no ride, due to a business trip I was on but then we received an email that the entire 30 hour course needed to be retaken. I contacted customer service again like usual and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They could've just told us before hand all of this and I would've tried figuring something out. He spent 4 months on this course just to retake it. Awesome Top Driver! They even charged us another fee to do the course again about 200 dollars which makes the total about 1000 dollars wasted on these classes. If it wasn't mandatory in school to take these I would've never put him in these classes. This company only cares about money and nothing else. There classes are infact useless. My son already drives amazingly and knows everything thanks to common sense. They also held him in their for an extra half an hour for no reason when the entire lesson was over. I didn't understand why they did this. This is just a waste of time for the children inside and everyone else.
