I have tried this dry cleaner three times, as they are the closest to my house, but I will NOT be back. All three times I have experienced horrible customer service. My first experience was when I brought in a comforter to be cleaned. When I walked into the store I was greeted, not with a hello, but with, "Do you have animals? Because if you have animals we are NOT going to clean that comforter." Luckily I do not have animals. They cleaned it and did an okay job, but they were never friendly. The second time i was greeted with, "Last four numbers of your phone number..." I was confused. Don't these people know how to say hello? The third time I was met with, "You will have to wait a minute. I am busy." I am done. Although they do an okay job with the cleaning I am sure that I can find another dry cleaner that will at least be pleasant when I walk through the door. read more

The bottom line is that they didn't have the work ready when they said they would, didn't do it correctly when they did get around to it, and refused to fix the problem after I drew their attention to it. In detail: I dropped off a suit on a Saturday morning and asked them to dry-clean it and tighten some suspender buttons. They said it would be ready by the next Saturday. When I came back the next Saturday, they told me it wasn't ready and that I should come back after 5:00p (they closed at 6:00p, giving me a one-hour window). I couldn't make it later that day so I came back on Monday to pick it up. They had only tightened one of the buttons. I gave it back and asked them to tighten the others. When I came back the next day, they hadn't done any additional work and told me they decided that no other buttons needed to be tightened. (Apparently it didn't occur to them to leave that judgment to the one who actually wears the clothes). I needed the suit for an important event and was moving out of state a couple of days later. I didn't have time to give them any additional opportunities to make it right. So we are left with a stiffed customer whose only recourse is to post scathing reviews on the Internet. read more

I would give this place 1/2 star if I could. Luis Blanco (the owner) is a scam artist and could not care less about his reputation. Countryside Cleaners overcharges for mediocre cleaning services, takes twice as long as other cleaners to perform the same work, and may or may not have your items ready (or at the right store) when promised. I had to return to the store multiple times to pick up "pieces" of my order that were either missing, late or at the wrong location. This was my first time here and I figured that they would do their best to make it right, but I was told that "the services were performed so you can't have your clothes back until you pay in full" (which I did). It's unfortunate that the owner of a small service company (the kind that I usually like to support) doesn't understand the importance of reputation and customer service in building a business. I gave them a try based on reviews I had read online. I expected to have a great experience, but it was the opposite. In the end it's $50'and not the end of the world, but please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time supporting a business that only cares about $$$ and nothing about honesty, integrity, or doing the right thing. Use the cleaners across the street to the north. They'll do a fine job faster, cheaper and without the hassle. read more

This place is great. If you're in the Alpine or Highland area there are really only two choices for dry cleaning. This place and another down the street. I definitely prefer here over the other. It is owned by a nice couple from Mexico and they work tirelessly here. They both are very concerned about customer support and I've had them go the extra mile multiple times to get my dry cleaning done in time for a deadline. There service is also first rate. I haven't had any broken buttons on my shirts and they are always pressed very nicely. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I have been using them for over a year and was very happy with the service and quality. On my last service they charged me over a dollar more per shirt and pair of pants and explained they had had a price increase. When I checked my receipt it showed XXL shirts @ $3.80/shirt. My shirts are all large or extra large, not XXL. I called in just to compare with other laundries in the area and was told the price for shirts is $2.75 with no mention of extra charge for different sizes. $2.75 is already higher than any other laundry in the area. No one else charges extra for different sizes. Pricing and honesty is a little suspect. read more
