I've had this peacoat (see photos) for a couple of years and have not had it dry cleaned prior to visiting Chong's. There were a few stains, spills, and linty areas on it. I brought it to get dry cleaned and my coat looked completely like new after! Even the color looked more vibrant and any sign of wear was gone! Walking in, the place smelled vaguely of a gas leak, but the reviews were good so I left shirts. Basic, business casual button ups. I was happy that on picking them up a test sniff revealed no lingering smell. For the most part no complaints, until my linen shirt. The sleeves look like they'd gone through a shredder. I have dry cleaned this shirt before with no problems. No I've lost the shirt completely. Stay away if you have anything other than cotton. read more

Wow, great service and my shirts came out perfect. I am a flight attendant, and we have a very specific uniform compliance and we really wear our uniforms out. My shirts were pressed perfectly, the white was bright and yet the navy blue stitching and inside the collar and cuff was vibrant. No bleeding or fading! I have been hand washing my shirts for 3 years now because I have tried several other places in MULTIPLE states and had expensive uniform pieces ruined. Not at Chongs!!! Best dry cleaners around, and we've tried several. Not only can you trust that your clothes will return clean and well-pressed, but often times they look better than when the clothes were originally bought. For example, we just took our winter coats in to be cleaned, but also had lint fuzz all over many of them, as they were wool blends and this happens easily. They offered a service to shave the fabric. It's very time-consuming for them, so of course it isn't a little ten dollar, service, but the cost is very low considering the amount of work. I was so impressed with how meticulous and detailed they were. They're also great at mending minor tears in seams and removing stains. Very kind couple that owns and operates this. I brought in a really dirty, really delicate white chiffon dress to be dry cleaned, and I wasn't even sure if it was possible to get all the stains out because of how bad it was. They weren't sure either when I dropped it off, but said they would try their best. To my delight, when I picked up the dress they did indeed get out all the stains without causing any damage to the delicate dress! Honest business and great customer service. Very good prices too, and that means a lot to me! They are worth the drive and I will only go to Chong's from now on! I would give no start if I could. A few months ago I took some of my work shirts in and was told they would be ready in 3 days on a Thursday. First of all one item was not ready because they had planned on rewashing and that's fine. When I went back the following day to pick up. Not only the item was not cleaned, it had underarm stains from my deodorant but also it was not pressed. I had made the payment ahead of time so I asked for a refund since it was neither cleaned nor pressed (keep in mind I am paying 13.14 dollars for two blouses). The owner (a male of Asian decent) was extremely rude. When I asked for a refund he told me to "get out". Anywhere else that would be an automatic refund. Then I went to my car and was talking to local police about this, the owner came out and offered to pay half of the cost of the cleaning for the uncleaned, unpressed blouse (about $3) which I did not accept. I had planned on posting this back then but got busy with life. I took the shirt to another place who not only was able to get the stain out but also charged half as much. I have honestly never ever used a business that has such bad customer service. They cleaned my other item but at a high price compare to other places. I doubt their business will survive with that level of service. read more
