I went in, explained that I'm a terrible mother or maybe I have a terrible kid. Either way, I need to deliver birthday cookies/cupcakes/memories & be back at work in 87min. Without visible judgment passed & with a nod of understanding, I was presented 2 ready made options at $40ea. I went with the gold print 7 cookie + candy bouquet - (vs the multicolored print) to match the gold foil 3 & 0 balloons (the balloons were apparently NOT an approved item & did not pass the embarrassment test) that I stopped for en route & tied to the basket. Completed with 2 dozen (not pictured) cupcakes for the coworkers to enjoy along with him. Man, parenting is hard - but Cookies for You sure made it easy for me today! Whew... The Black Iguana is a coffee shop within a country-centennial vibey store. I really do like pistachios and the frappe flavor was something new for me. I'm all about getting out of my warm, secure, comfort zone and trying new foods, drinks, events...The barista was so friendly with a cute smile and also said the pistachio frappe was her favorite. And the frappe tasted how I imagined it would, delish!!! This is something I don't usually do, so I knew it was meant to be. While I did try a latte that my husband bought, and was very good, it was the tea that caught my heart.
