The facility is located next to an old style city park. The exterior looks dated but inside is bright and fresh. The four indoor courts have excellent surfaces and good lighting. The spectator area is small but has more seating than clubs of similar size. The facility is clean and welcoming. The personalized service of the pro makes this a five-star rating.

He asked for an advance in funds in order to purchase a flash drive to put the finished product on. He said the photos and video would be available in 3 days but it has now been over 6 weeks and he still has not delivered the finished product. Most significantly he has stopped responding to my text messages and phone calls inquiring about what is happening with my photos and video. I cannot endorse this business and unfortunately will be filing a claim in court to get a refund, when all I want is the precious photos of my mothers landmark birthday. Stay far away from this business!

The kids get a bib with a number and the parents get a bib with the same number and "parent" on it as well. They will not release your child unless you are there and the numbers match. This was greatly enforced and being a first time parent at this I really appreciated everything and everyone involved with this event. They made sure the kids were safe at all times. Picking up the packet was really easy. Parking was great. The kids had a great time and what a rush it was for them to run into the stadium. My daughter enjoyed it so much that she wants to do the 5k next year. I paid $12 for my daughter to enter. She got a t-shirt, a string back pack and some coupons and they served mac and cheese, cookies, fruit gushers and water at the end of the race. It was so worth the money. It was really a great experience. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the wait between ages. We got rained on too but that is not their fault. And looking back on it the reason they took so long in between races was because they were making sure all the kids were accounted for. Really a good time and experience.

You go through a few different subdivisions which can get monotonous, but by and large the course keeps your attention off the fact that you're simply putting one foot in front of the other. Some of my favorite parts were the forest preserve and running through downtown Champaign. The setup allows for people to congregate along the entire course, which is much appreciated by runners. And, of course, you finish on the 50-yard line in the football stadium. Interesting side note, it's fascinating how different the surface of the football field was compared to running on concrete. It's a rubber-composite surface and definitely makes you wish you had cleats, albeit for a brief 50-yard stretch. Organization The race started on time, and packet pick-up instructions were well communicated. Throughout the weeks leading up to the race, organizers sent e-mails communicating potential scenarios regarding inclement weather which were well appreciated. They did a great job this year. The finish was well organized as well, and I found it very easy to figure out where to go and how to find food/beverages. Overall Experience Despite the weather being absolutely horrible, I had an awesome experience at the 2015 race. There were still a ton of people who stood out in the rain for hours to support all the runners. Finishing a long race like this is a triumph no matter who's running, and it's great to see people who recognize and appreciate it. To all the organizers and volunteers, well done!
