I was not sure what to expect from the exterior of the building. Honestly the sign above the door looks like a tarp that is just hung up there (it is an actual permanent sign) so I would suggest some other color and variations if they decide to redo this. When you walk in, it takes just a second for your eyes to adjust as the whole place is dark and lit by blacklights. As you enter the door, you are greeted with a few arcade game machines. The mini golf course is towards the back and was relatively reasonable for pricing. It was $26.00 for three adults to play a round. The course was decent with many right angle banking and some shots where you need to hit it into an obstacle. There is no elevation to the holes unless it is a ramp so the holes are almost all flat. The final hole is a large clown face where you hit the ball into his mouth. The arcade consisted of quite a few games to play: skee ball, crane games, deal or no deal, a big wheel to spin and a few other fan favorites as well. The games cost anywhere from $1.10 to $1.75 for a play so it isn't completely outrageous. There were 't too many options to choose from at the arcade redemption center so I would suggest expanding more items here for people to earn. This is a fun place to spend a couple hours with the kids or a fun date. They even have birthday packages available for children with a designated room. read more

Brought my nephew to come and play. We were greeted with enthusiasm as soon as we were in the door. There was only one other couple there, so it was quiet, but it was great. The gentleman that was there had so much energy and he gave out tickets for the prize section. He gave out tickets for having awesome dance moves, a cool glow pattern and even making a hole in one or two shots. I told him we were there because my nephew won a championship baseball game and we got extra tickets for that which was very nice. Once we were done with our miniature golf, we played some arcade games and you don't have to pick any prizes out that day because they don't expire and they remain on a card for you. Imagine being a 5 year old girl and getting 1000 tickets on your nteenth try just to find out there is a known malfunction with the machine not loading tickets onto the card. When we asked the employees, they told us they best they could do was load 200 points onto the card...That is 1/5 of what she won... No manager was available and my daughter was visible upset that her birthday visit to Mini Monster Golf ended on such a poor note. read more

This 18 hole miniature golf course and arcade is a great place to spend a cold, rainy day. I took three 12 yr old boys with cabin fever & they had a great time. The black light and monster themed atmosphere is a lot of fun. It's not too creepy for the little kids but not too babyish for the big ones. There were even small groups of teenagers hanging out and having fun. Games are unlimited, you pay the entry fee and have fun. There is a decent area for parents to sit and watch at one end of the course. I was able to see my boys on almost every hole. The only draw back is for left handed people. Two of my boys are lefties and a lot of the tee boxes were very awkward for them. They're definitely set up for right handed visitors. Several holes offered very little space for the boys to stand comfortably while putting. They still had a great time though. read more

My boyfriend and I went here to play mini golf and we heard great things from friends. The credit card machinery was down and unable to be fixed in time for us to play, but he gave us a free round of mini golf on the house and was super nice! I have been to Monster Mini Golf on two different occasions during my time at Purdue, and I've had a fun time both times! Arguably the only mini golf venue in reasonable driving distance from campus, my friends and I went here to quench our thirst to defeat each other in a war of golf. Monster Mini Golf has the positive of being indoors, which if you're familiar with Lafayette's weather, is a blessing. The entry is in a small shopping complex, and you can miss it if you're not careful. The interior is dark, and as the name implies, monster themed. There's lots of blacklights here, so everything glows. It's a really fun effect. The entry hosts an arcade with your typical prizes for redemption. It's not the best selection of games, but that's okay, we came to golf! And golf we did. It's a standard 18 hole course. There isn't a ton of variety in terms of design or traps, but the theme makes up for it. The glow in the dark skeletons and monsters pop, and it feels like you're inside of a bizarre art piece. It's unique, and definitely not an aesthetic you see a lot. It's fun to look around. It's never been too busy when I've been here, which is great because it means you don't have to rush. (And given our skill level, we definitely need some extra time lol) Pricing is very reasonable and they practically throw coupons at you when you leave. Cool place, liked the theme although didn't get much of a scare. Clean facility and staff was very strict with enforcing masks. My only complaint was the temperature of the room was HOT. I went to the monster mini golf in Lafayette indiana around 1pm on Sat July 9th with my wife , sister in law and my 4 year old niece and 5 year old nephew. We only played the first hole and then the kids saw the Dracula and freaked out. They would not go any farther We asked for a refund and they would not give it. Pretty ridiculous we payed $43 to play and played one hole and they would not refund our money even after seeing the children in terrior. What a joke , will never go back. read more

We have been here a few times and enjoyed the mini golf and small arcade. It is cheap and fun for kids. I give that aspect 4 stars. This time my daughter decided that she had to have her birthday party here. When I checked out the website, I was a bit shocked by the price: $175 (up to 10 children) for the lowest tier on a weekend. But they hyped the personal host, decorations and place settings. So I said ok. Well the host was nice but she was young and did not really do any activities with the kids other than take them out to golf. The place settings were plain paper plates, plastic utensils and napkins. No cups, nothing decorative about that aspect at all. The room was nice and decorated with fridge and microwave plus a few extras like an ice cream scoop and some candles in case you forgot. The package also claimed a special toy for each guest but I did not realize until after we left that no one received anything of the sort. The reservation is only for 90 minutes which can be hard to pull off if you add in golf, arcade time, food and cake/presents. Luckily we were at the end of the day and they did not really pressure us to get out other than the hostess having to leave. So for $175 we got a room, about $30 worth of tokens, $50 worth of golf, a host who sat in a corner most of the time and a couple dozen paper plates. 2 stars just for the lack of value for the party package aspect. I am sure it would have been more economical if we had more kids (we only had 6 who ended up golfing.) The weekday deal for 6 kids at $75 seems like a much better value, but that did not work for our schedule. Comparatively at Chuck E Cheese you could get pizza, drinks and 55 tokens per kid for about the same price. Too bad my daughter has outgrown Chuck E Cheese and there are not too many options for tween birthday parties. So overall it is a nice mini golf and arcade but not very economical for parties. It's cheap indoor mini-golf with a couple silly scary things along the way. The staff are all easy going college kids that don't care much and let you have fun as long as you aren't breaking anything or distubing others. Not the best course I have every mini golfed on. But it is cute because it is all black lighting, low rates (with student discount if you have your ID), and INDOORS. What else do we do in Indiana in the winter? At least we can still mini golf. Cheap minigolfing. Came here with DealChicken certificate so paid $10 for two rounds of minigolf and 25 arcade tokens, but it's normally only $7.50 for one round. The course is small but glow in the dark so that's cool. We went through the course pretty quickly (30-40min). The arcade games were fun but they need to lower the number of tickets for prizes! We had a Groupon and decided to give it a try. We had a GREAT time! 18 holes was just the right amount of time with our 8 and 9 year olds. However, we were told we could play as many rounds as we wanted that day if we kept the receipt. As with any mini golf game, you have to be mindful of the pace of the people in front of and behind you. It wasn't really an issue for us. There's fun music and an the DJ occasionally asks a question that will earn arcade tickets if answered correctly. We then spent about $10 at the arcade, which garnered enough tickets for both kids to get a couple of trinkets. All the games in the arcade were in good working order and there was a good variety. We went about 4pm on a Saturday, and though it got full, it wasn't overly crowded. The glow-in-the-dark course, balls, and putters and fog made it extra fun. Definitely worth the $$ and a fun family activity on a super hot day when we didn't want to be outside. They also gave us a coupon for a free admission on our next visit. Myself, my three kids and my parents paid a visit the other day. We were about at hole five when I heard a ruckus. I look over at the gaming area and is filling up with teenage girls. Evidently two school bus loads of young ladies attending a camp were dropped off. All trying to start playing golf. I'm reluctant to give one star, but the staff was overwhelmed. They tried to stagger the foursomes throughout the course. Putting a group at the hole that was to be our next. I don't think they had ever played before. As the girls filled up the course and arcade we had to abandon ship. To their credit the staff gave us full refund and 4 free passes. But the fun family outing was ruined. I ask managment to next time make this party of 100 wait in line. Then maybe they will see the mistake in their decision to flood a miniature golf course with 100 people. read more

This place is lots of fun! You get unlimited plays and there are various discounts every night. My friend and I came here on a Saturday and there were lots of kids so there was some waiting, but it was not bad at all. The different holes are all interesting and some can be a little tricky. There are interesting challenges at different holes, such as, use your opposite hand or close your eyes on the first shot, which make it more fun, especially if you're doing all the holes a second time.
