It is pricey. There is only a Port o Potty for a restroom. I was disappointed today in the service inside the store. The person at the register was more interested in telling an employee about an earlier customer than in helping me. The conversation could have waited until I left. I was out in Nashua visiting family that lives there and got to help them start a garden. When looking for plants I knew I wanted to go with a local business. Enter the awesomeness that is Countrybrook Farms. Prices were reasonable and the selection was nice. Plus how can you go wrong with a place that has goats and ice cream. So glad I found this gem in the area. The family I was visiting didn't even know this was nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful. My sister in law was able to get answers about some plants she saw at a local park so she can put them in her yard. They plan to go back for more plants, mulch, and ice cream. I know the nephews want to see the goats again. read more

Honestly, I am an ice cream snob. And for the calories and fat involved, I will drive and I will wait for the BEST. This is it. Yes, even better than Bedford Farms in MA, Häagen-Dazs, or Ben & Jerry. Countrybrook sells a NH brand that is divine. The intensity of the flavors, esp. the black raspberry, is just simply the BEST. Take the drive! Take home a quart! They have a nice deck with tables to relax and some food. See for yourself. I hope you will. Next door is also a lovely nursery/gardening spot. read more

I stopped here today (thanksgiving day) to get a last minute flower arrangement for my dad. They were closed, as I suspected for Thanksgiving Day, however, the owner saw me at the door looking at the hours and kindly let me in to purchase a beautiful winter arrangement! Any business who doesn't accept credit or debit cards has no business being in business. It's 2017. They actually have a sign that says that processing these transactions is 'problematic'. I just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have been so happy with them. While purchasing a couple of hollies, I pulled out my very ameteur, coffee stained design plan and asked the person ringing me up for a shrub recommendation. She called someone and next thing I knew an awesome professional landscape designer was walking around the nursery with me making recommendations and helping me with the design. He spent at least an hour with me answering all my questions and never rushed me. I only cut it short because it was 105 degrees! He was beyond helpful with my design plan and his advice was completely free. I went back a couple days later and purchased some of the shrubs he recommended. Later that evening I noticed one of their specials on their website, which was buy 3 hollies get one free. I had purchased 2 one day and 2 more two days later. Kicking myself, I emailed them to ask if there was anything they could do. I got a response the next morning giving me a store credit for one of the hollies. I was very happy that they honored the special even though I didn't purchase the hollies together. In general, they have a great selection and staff is always friendly and helpful if you're browsing. They have a chicken coop that my son loved. The prices were on par with Mahoneys but tax free! I also liked how they saved my information and purchases in their computer. My only complaint is that the shrub area is muddy. Obviously they're watering the shrubs well, but it's difficult to walk through. It would be nice if they added some stones to that area to make it easier to walk through. read more

I have to admit, I decided to stop here after not being able to go to Sully's in Tyngsboro but I was pleasantly surprised! Average price pretty good. Not extraordinary, but still good! I love this place. They have a huge assortment of plants and shrubs - all in great condition. Everything I have ever bought here has thrived in my yard and I am not the best or most conscientious gardener. The gift shop has a nice selection of plaques, garden decorations and other crafty items at reasonable prices. Like the gardens, the layout of everything in the store is pleasing to the eye. The waterfall in front of the store is beautiful and just one example of their landscaping expertise. The owners, Michelle and Jay, are wonderful, friendly people too. I contacted Michelle on short notice to have an end of the year party for my girl scout troop at the ice cream stand and she accommodated us with a smile. The staff was excellent as well. They carry Blake's ice cream. Blake's is a creamery. In nh. They make many ice cream locations inventory. Their flavors are incredible. They have pie flavors and the original moose tracks with pb cups. Fudge swirls nuts and the best vanilla around. My favorites are fudge walnut. And lemon meringue pie ice cream. Yum my If I could give them ten stars I would. Better than Any place. Hayward's is not even close. They have a knowledgeable staff for all your landscaping needs. Huge variety. Flowers plants.
