This business is at the owners' home, and they have beautifully arranged their whole property into a hosta garden perfect for wandering and gazing at all the different sizes, shapes, and colors of hosta. The owners are SO incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a cute little gift shop filled with shabby chic finds with repurposed garden tools, galvanized metal, garden decor, antiques, etc. This place is a hidden gem if there ever was one.

I am writing with regard to your Black Bean and Corn Soup product. We purchased this and Corn Chowder from Osborne's a few weeks to a month ago. We first made the Corn Chowder, which I thought tasted funny, but my husband ate it all. He was later sick that evening, but we didn't think too much of it. About a week ago, we all of a sudden started finding some type of worms crawling on the ceiling near the pantry. We could not figure out what was going on. Did Food fall somewhere and it was rotting? We pulled out our stove, our refrigerator cleaned everywhere and could not find the source. It wasn't until last night where I saw a worm looking like it was crawling out of the cabinet and we decided to look inside the bag of the black bean and corn soup. To our disgusted surprise, there were tons of worms inside the soup mix!! I attach a picture here for your review. (No option to include photo on this review) We first want to make you aware that the product is contaminated so that others can avoid the same disgusting experience and would also appreciate at the very least, reimbursement of the cost of the soup. Please respond to this email address. We do not want to keep the item but have put it in a gallon size Ziploc bag outside of the house in case you need to inspect it yourself. Please advise.

Although he called his dog off, it was still an uncomfortable start. I was also told the nursery didn't open until 10:00 a.m. but since he was there I could shop, even though an open flag was displayed, which only added to the confusion. The employee's response was curt and dismissive when I tried to make friendly conversation. Once inside, nothing was priced, which made shopping difficult. The plants also looked less than desirable and overpriced for their condition. I ended up buying a planter for $47 because I felt obligated after the interaction. Foolish Me! I should have just left, but that is not how I was raised. I always try to support local small businesses. Customers should also know that paying by credit card instead of cash comes with an additional fee. When I was leaving, his dog was circling around my car which again made for an uncomfortable situation leaving. Between the unfriendly service, lack of pricing, high prices, and extra card charge, I left disappointed and will not return.

In addition to their plants, they have a friendly dog, a goldfish/koi pond, and a small garden to highlight their offerings. For West Coast people, they have dawn redwoods you can plant in your own backyard. They're not as huge&majestic as the ones in Santa Cruz&Mendocino, but they're literally a start.
