Confession...I work here. But before I worked here I was a client with 3 of my 4 babies. Number 4 came after I started. I absolutely loved it as a client and even more as an employee. When you switch from client to employee you get a first hand view on how your kiddos were treated as patients. I'd leave any one of them there in a heartbeat, not a second thought! The doctors are thorough, if it's out of their area of expertise they aren't afraid to say so and offer a referral. If a treatment isn't working or isn't affordable they'll come up with a Plan B. Or C. Or D. The staff is amazing and they (we) all love what we do and it shows. Do we have bad moments and rough days? Of course but we all do. Can that come across to the next client that we just got yelled at for a bill they weren't quite planning for or a medication that can't be refilled because the pet needs testing or an annual exam or the excruciating grief they are carrying has come back on us as pure hatred and anger to the point where we literally have to walk away mid-conversation to avoid things taking a turn? You bet it can. But they/we shake it off and move on with a warm smile and care for the next patient as if it were our own. I've experienced all of these in the vet care field on and off for the past 24 years. I keep coming back because these babies need a voice, compassionate and patient care and those with soft eyes, kind hearts and gentle voices to be their care givers and the staff at Countryside Animal Clinic go above and beyond for your babies and will treat them as their own! read more
