Used to be great, reliable place. Service was great, prices were on. Nowadays, prices went up sky high and quality of service went down the toilet. No more next day service and even if you bring things to be done in a few days, they take at least a week to do. I will never use them again. read more

Just moved back east and heard some bad things about other dry cleaners so was encouraged by the positive reviews here. The woman who helped me was very friendly and accommodating. I got a trench coat and dress cleaned for $27, which was a bit pricey but worth it since I needed a quick turnaround time. FYI: They don't take debit/credit cards so you need to pay in cash (they might accept check too, can't remember). read more

I checked out this place due to the positive reviews. I was really happy with the results! I went to get my curtains altered, as well as tie backs created. I didn't even know what I wanted was called "tie-backs" but after a conversation with (I think the owner) she figured out what I wanted. She made sure to ask many questions to ensure the product would come out how I wanted. I was very happy with her customer service, and the quality of my curtains when I got them back, along with the tie backs. I will use them again! It seemed pretty affordable to me. I got the curtains altered for $28 (two curtains) and the 2 tie backs created with the leftover fabric for $8. Totaling $36 for everything read more

I read all the positive reviews and hoped for the best. I'm so glad I tried this place out! The owner is so nice. I was running short on time and nearly forgot about my dress! I needed my bridesmaid dress altered and she did it for me in just a few days. The dress came out perfect and she was not overpriced like other places I've used in the past. I know it seems crazy to get so enthusiastic over a dry cleaner but this place is GREAT!!! The owner ( I don't know her name) is so friendly and personable and you can tell she goes out of her way to really get to know her customers. She sees my husband and I pull up in our car and she has our dry cleaning ready when we get in the door. She also refers to us by our names when we come in. I highly recommend this place. read more

I had a hard time finding a quick service tailor in the area when first moving up here. I tried this placed based upon the one review on yelp and was pretty happy. I brought a couple of uniform shirts from work to have some things sewn on them. I had the shirts back within a day or two. The only problem was that one alteration was done on the shirt that I didn't ask for. But, it was more my fault for not fully explaining what I did and didn't need done. Since then, I've had pants altered and tailored here without any problems. I'll certainly bring more uniforms here when I need things done. read more

I moved to north Wilmington last year and needed to find a new dry cleaner. After reading the reviews, I started coming here for cleaning and occasional mending. The work is of very high quality - both cleaning and mending repairs - and has a lot of integrity. I'm not sure exactly how to spell the owner's name, maybe Ye? Pronounced like Yay, she is incredibly nice, honest, and lovely to chat with. She's been very upfront about challenging "projects" by discussing them first to help manage expectations - not all pieces are created equal and dry cleaning can only do so much, in some cases. That said, everything has come back in great shape. One blouse still had a small tough grease stain on it, which was re-cleaned at a discount when I noticed it later. I brought in an old hoodie I wanted to mend- a pocket was starting to detach from the main body. Well it was such a simple sew job that Ye grabbed some thread and stitched it up in less than 30 seconds right there. I recently bought a pair of denim Capris which needed the waist taken in. I brought them here and the lady was very accomadating, reasonably priced and also very friendly, and I had them back in just a few days, not weeks like the other place I enquired at! I recently got my wedding gown cleaned and boxed by Countryside Cleaners and I am blown away at the amazing job they did. I was nervous because my gown was expensive but I read the great reviews and decided to go for it. Things got a little crazy on the dance floor and I had multiple red wine stains on the front of my dress, and the bottom of dress got pretty filthy with dirt from walking around. I was blown away at how clean my dress was!!! It looked brand new and I couldn't find a trace of dirt anywhere. They showed me the gown before they sent it off to be boxed which I totally appreciated. I picked it up a few weeks later in a beautiful, sealed box to treasure for years to come. This place will definitely be my go-to dry cleaner now and I highly recommend them to other brides. read more

Have been coming here for over a year for dry cleaning and alterations. The lady working there is super friendly and attentive. My clothes always come back in great condition. Recently had a dress altered. Not only did it fit perfectly, she added a thin nonslip lining inside the dress without me even asking! Don't look any further for your alteration needs! I called here in a panic because I waited way too long to get my bridesmaid dress altered, and I needed the job done in 4 days max. The owner didn't seem panicked at all and told me she'd have it done in 2 days. I went in, had the fitting and pinning done in five minutes flat, and out the door I went. While I was behind the curtain we had a pleasant chat and she was lovely to talk to. She had the dress done in the agreed upon time, it fit perfectly, and she charged me next to nothing. Recently moved to the area and have been delighted with this dry cleaning and laundry establishment. The owner is full of cheerfulness and does an outstanding job of cleaning all our garments. That would be enough by itself to justify coming back time after time but coupled with her highly reasonable prices you will soon wonder how she does it all. One must pay by check or cash but with pricing so reasonable no need to pull out the plastic. Cannot recommend Countryside Cleaners enough for all your garment cleaning needs. read more
