I was disappointed to see that very little of the plan was being implemented. I had to call to basically babysit the Realtor into implementing the plan we discussed. After three months of no action, I decided to move on and find a new Realtor. This is the worst part. They wanted me to pay a cancellation fee and a marketing fee paid by my Realtor. I don't know what she was marketing, as she did nothing but open houses. The manager, Maria Radwan, was very rude and didn't listen to my problem. When I told her the marketing plan laid out by my Realtor, she basically told me I was lying. She said she talked to the Realtor and that wasn't the agreement. So here we have a relater lying to her employer and then having the employer call ME the liar. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in Baird and Warner and Maria Radwan. The issue started with a mismatch in our relationship with the Realtor and turned into a huge problem with the way Baird and Warner does business. I will never even think of listing or purchasing a house from them and would suggest you to look elsewhere for a professional, hardworking Realtor.

The money went to his fake business and friends. The second property manager failed to listen to my needs and pushed to have cosmetic work done. Then she had the audacity to ask for a credit for my tenants after she sold them a condo. Good property managers are hard to find but this Baird & Warner office are terrible.

Even though we had a hard time deciding between single family homes (Detached) and town homes/Condos (Attached), Ryan was always patient with us. He was with us every step of the way with great insights on affordability, explaining how home offers work, even when we decided to switch our search locations! No matter the twists and turns we presented (I'm sorry Ryan!!), Ryan stood by our side the entire process. In fact, he was a mentor for us, who went to essentially EVERY single house we wanted to see, who gave valuable opinions and insights on every home and even the area where the home was located. He checked in with us and made sure we actually loved the house instead of pushing us towards a home to make a quick sale. Ryan is the kind of real estate agent you would want; patient, will educate you during the whole process, and will ensure you're taken care of during the whole process!

Ryan was down to earth and walked us through each step, always respectful of our situation and perspective while providing honest and insightful counsel. Ryan worked with us even before any formal agreement, advising on remodeling and market value. We had to sell our condo due to unemployment, it was an emotionally difficult process but Ryan and his team were always supportive and compassionate. Ryan went above and beyond in terms of availability and providing hands on help. This process could have been an absolute nightmare with a lesser realtor, but we always felt safe guided by Ryan's expertise.

Being a first-time homebuyer is a nerve-wracking and overwhelming process especially with the current housing market. He was incredibly patient and supportive, always quick to get appointments scheduled and there to check-in when I had to pull out of offers as repairs discovered during inspection periods were beyond my financial scope. He's got a wealth of knowledge as well, helping to suggest other companies for inspections and repairs and financing. He was the best possible person to have worked with as a first-time home buyer. I cannot recommend highly enough!

You might ask why...... Martin is one of a kind - he is always available to speak with you, answer your questions, encourage you and make suggestions. He is very positive and knowledgeable and definitely flexible. He is anything but pushy when it comes to listening to you or finding out exactly what you have in mind with the sale of your house, however he will give you recommendations based on his experience and let you decide how you choose to proceed. He is always coming up with new ideas how to market the homes he is selling and is more than willing to have Open Houses or other events to promote your property. He is honest to a fault and certainly has the utmost integrity. Thank you is such a small phrase, but in this case it carries a lot of weight because his abilities, attitudes, efforts, and sincerity are unmatched in the real estate world! He serves the entire northern Illinois area and even if you need suggestions or recommendations on someone in a different area, he is more than willing to research for you and find out who is the best person to assist you. It is rare that you find an individual who always goes above and beyond to help you... Martin is just that! He is calm and patient and provides excellence in customer service. His listening skills are great and his suggestions are spot on. When I look at his reviews it seems all I ever notice are reviews very similar to mine. In this day and age of people who are less than honest, never seem to have time to help, or are sometimes unkind or unknowledgeable...... I can assure you, Martin is the opposite of that!!! You will be very glad that you did!!!
