Even the drywall must be cut two feet up (more in other areas) as it's all water damaged. My unit is off the market as it's now uninhabitable. Need-less-to say, I find their business standards to be lax or non-existant. Their lack of professionalism is costing me more than I can afford. My experience has left me seriously concerned about whether some agents and the attorneys they recommend are working together in a way that benefits the professionals involved rather than the client. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. My agent sent my home inspection report to an attorney for contract-related matters without notifying me or discussing it with me beforehand. He also attempted to negotiate aspects of my contract through an attorney he had recommended, again without first discussing those actions with me or getting my direction. As the client, I expected to be informed and consulted before significant communications or decisions were made regarding my transaction. Instead, I felt that important steps were being taken behind my back. That seriously undermined my trust and confidence in the agent and in the way my transaction was being handled. My experience has made me believe that clients need to be extremely cautious when an agent recommends an attorney and should make sure they understand exactly what is being communicated and negotiated on their behalf. I would strongly recommend that anyone working with this agent insist on being informed and consulted before any significant action is taken regarding their contract or transaction.
