Surprised to see only 2 one star reviews, I just noticed when I got online to look up their number. I needed to call them to extend our yard waste pick up for the season. I have done this a few other times as well and have always been treated courteously on the phone. We have used countryside disposal since 2008 and they have never failed to pick up our trash up early every Thursday morning. The only exception is holidays and it's picked up then on Friday morning, again no fails. I do not hesitate to recommend them! read more

Never again! I am in my 5th week of service and the 2nd week in a row of my garbage not getting picked up on the day they assigned it would. Last week without my calling it got picked up the end of the next business day, this week when I did call the soonest they could pick it up was 4 days after my regular day. Since you have to pay a quarter upfront don't expect to cancel service unless you want to kiss 2 months of paid service goodbye because they don't do refunds. Unreliable service, horrible customer service, don't waste your time and go with any other company than this one! read more

I've never left a review for any company ever. I am a small business owner and I hired countryside disposal for my personal residence everything was fine for 4-6 weeks until the cast iron gate at the end of my drive was smashed. This happened in January and my wife decided to follow up because we heard nothing back only to have the secretary (who has to be related) call my wife a few choice cuss words the proceeded to tell me to f@&k off. Lucky I have it on camera. So if you ever have a thought on using this company just save yourself the time n energy n hit yourself in the head with a hammer. read more

I just cancelled my service with Countryside Disposal. They raised my rate for 2018 and now again for 2019 by 10%. When I cancelled my services they told me there would be a 50 dollar charge for them to pick up their 90 gallon garbage can. Obviously they are losing business with these poor business practices. They said it will go to collection if I don't pay. I don't see how I can be charged for them retrieving their property? I will be contacting consumer protection agency and the better business bureau to report this practice. read more

Worst service ever. Office staff lazy & unresponsive. Called for additional items to be picked up and they never communicated to driver. Items were left at curb. When inquiring, they indicated they needed an itemized list of additional trash. What????? This is not rocket science we are talking about! read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I recently signed up with Countryside about 3 weeks ago. I was hesitant to sign up based on the terrible reviews but I went against my better judgement. I decided that I'll give this business the benefit of the doubt. What a mistake that was. The first week they took my trash - great! The 2nd week, I watched the truck from my living room pick up every other bin except mine. I called in stating that they missed my trash and could they reschedule to have it picked up asap. The woman on the phone said that she would "look into the reason they missed it " and that she would call me back. About 4 hours go by and I grow impatient. I call back and she says she tried calling the drivers cell phone but he wouldn't answer. She told me that by the end of the day that she would call me back with an answer. Guess what? I never heard back from her. That was on a weekend so I had to wait until Monday to follow up. I call back on Monday and I decide I am just going to cancel. I didn't like that so early on their services were disappointing me. I told the woman that I wanted to cancel and she asked why. When I told her it was because they missed my trash and that no one ever got back to me, she said that was not a valid reason to cancel. She also told me that there were no notes in their system that I ever called to complain. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was pretty sure that the same lady I spoke to last week was the same lady I was speaking to this time around. I then asked her why it wasn't valid and she told me to take that up with her office manager. I also told her I wanted a credit and she told me she didn't handle that. This woman was as rude as they come. If you're answering a phone and representing a company, learn how to treat a customer. I was nothing but respectful to her despite the situation. I just can't quite understand how this business operates with people like her answering the phones. Do yourself a favor and go with Republic or another service - this one just isn't worth it. I am reporting this company to the BBB. read more

I had their trash service for about a year. They forgot my trash multiple times. I rescently moved and they were unable to pick up at my new address even though it was 4mins down the road. They said it was to far out of the way. You pay three months at a time. When i moved i still had one month of sercive remaining that i paid for. I was told they would reimburse me for the one month i paid for. A month later i called to check on why i never received my refund. The lady said their systems were down but she would have somone get back to me. A week later i called again and this time i was told that my refund was $20 but they charge a $20 processing fee so they would not be giving me my money back. I told her that a $20 processing fee was ridiculous, because it is and she told me very sarcastically to have a nice day and then hung up on me. This is an awful busisness that treat there customers like garbage. I would not recommend themto anybody. read more
