It could not have been easier and the staff (Sarah in particular) could not have been any kinder. She sent me the paperwork via e-mail, I filled it out and we went from there. Any questions I had were answered, and when we went to do the final paperwork and selection of an urn, they were so sympathetic and warm, making the experience pleasant--despite the devastation I was feeling. When the time came, they were so gentle and respectful of my mother when they lay her on the stretcher to bring her to their facility. When we informed them she was a veteran, they provided a flag to drape her in. When we picked up her remains, the flag was folded and was presented to me. Also, the process was very quick and they kept me apprised of everything! She passed on the Saturday, she was cremated on Wednesday and we picked her up on Monday. (They do ask that you schedule a time to come in. Not a hardship.) I cannot praise them enough nor thank them enough for everything, especially the gentleness in which they treated my mother. They really made the experience non-traumatic and easy. I highly recommend them. (And if you are worried about the price points, they are extremely reasonable and don't rush you to pay. The last thing anyone wants is to discuss payment when you're at your loved one's side, and they are so cognizant and considerate of that.) Again, thank you for everything. --Clarissa.

But when we finally received his death certificate it was signed off by a doctor and the issue date was all within 3 -4 days of his death. Baldwin brothers you took all my trust away leaving my dad with you. I hate the feeling I may not have my dads remains. Seems you lied about why things took so long. Did my dad just get pushed aside or was he cremated and mixed up with someone else? And when I sat at your table and asked twice for my dads pin # for his finger print you pushed your brochure in front of me and encouraged me to order through you. Again I asked for his pin because I didn't want to give you anymore money and the second time you then pushed your business card in front of me. To be fair though they also make plaques but headstones are their primary business. They are family owned and have been around for ages. There is no headstone that they cannot make or duplicate. I have seen much older hand made or made out of town headstones that they have duplicated precisely. If your headstone comes loose after years of our abusive weather they will come out and re-secure it without a problem. My entire family (that's quite a number of people) have used them and thy have made all the headstones in my church's cemetery. I know from experience that they have been philanthropic in our community with donations.

This team, Miss Marta, Miss M, I can't even begin to name all of them because it REALLY was a team effort; thank you to the entire staff of Kinderoo who poured their hearts into our little one until there was no space for anger, or aggression. They have been patient beyond all reason, and worked with her directly and helped us extend that home. She's a year older and we have made the very difficult decision to transition to a school closer to home- but we are so so grateful for the compassionate care, and emotional intelligence our little one learned while at Kinderoo.
