They couldn't accept his application or didn't understand him, but when we came across countryside, Jason helped us even though he barely understood him he processed our application and he put us through, I am so grateful I found Jason when he help when no one did thank you so much Jason !!!!!! They were super quick to rent it out even when one of the tenants broke the lease, they found another in time. We didn't had to worry about anything. Looks like you have to be in a "certain class" and own some property to gain their respect...LOL. This review is in regard to the tenant renting experience: awful. My family and I rented from this property management for a couple years and for the first few, it was fine. I wish at the end of our tenancy, it would've stayed this way. Over the course of the last couple years, they decided to "do a couple repairs" and skyrocket the rent (most likely to kick us out) even though we were great tenants who always paid the rent on time and never gave them nor anyone around us any issues. These "repairs" included brand new vinyl flooring!.....for one room....and then they just left the rest to look like crap for MONTHS. It felt like any requests we ever put in, we were looked at as "less than" because we were a Filipino household that were of the few renting the houses there instead of owning so granted, weren't in the richest neighborhood, but we always gave them respect through and through. Really unfortunate how things panned out - we even ordered a bulky item pickup that the property management is trying to charge us for, even though the City was already taking care of it (which if you don't know, is a FREE pick up). Even took "pictures". HAHA. Just another case of a money hungry property management in a California city. If you're looking for a property management to work with that cares, look elsewhere. read more

My family have several properties managed by Robert and his team at Countryside PM. They have been excellent at screening tenants, being transparent about costs, and are responsive to emails and calls. They also treat tenants very fair which I think is really important to keeping tenants happy. We use to self-manage our properties in Central Valley before we met Robert and it was very difficult and challenging... trying to collect rent, managing repair process, or evicting non-paying tenants who had also trashed our place. Very poor communication and lack of respect. they didn't even tell us that SMUD was part of the lease , which is not in my lease, but it says "or other needs". Mind you they was able to put pg&e and city of Sacramento on my lease but not SMUD. Then with held the bill from us for 3 months until it got to $400 and then said oh by the way you have to pay this. What is so disrespectful is they sent us a ledger showing that they knew about the SMUD bill and didn't tell us about it. In the end good tenants always lose. God help us. read more

Jason at Countryside took care of my rental house in Modesto for about a year and a half, and did an excellent job the entire time. He always kept me in the loop about issues going on with the property, and helped me work through some difficult situations. He connected me with some great contractors who performed quality work, when needed. He was always available by phone or email, and was extremely responsive. I received monthly rental statements by email and monthly ACH deposits to my bank account by the middle of the month, so everything was easy to track and I never had to wonder when my money would arrive. I liked doing business with him so much, that he was my first choice of realtor when the time came to sell the house this month, which was also a great experience! Well the home was beautiful but Jason the owner , primary contact has very poor rapport and lacks people skills. Rarely fixed and followed up on repairs , very forgetful when it came to promises of repair . Moved into a home with property still in it from last tenants and had some poor carpeting that actually cut me and my 7 year old. Lots of Leaks that caused bill to shoot up but he did little to remedy much. After move out failed to give complete ledger of charges and very poor business person in general . read more
