The office was incredibly cold, two other patients remarked on it while we sat in the office waiting. The pace of the staff was also very slow. Waiting to be seen 30+ minutes during an early morning time slot is unreasonable. There did not appear to be a sense of urgency on the part of the staff. The audiologist and the physicians were professional, but there was too much personal chatter at the desk.

I had traveled to New London for a long weekend to attend a friend's memorial service and after my arrival on Thursday I realized I had forgotten the charger for my Phonak hearing aids. It was going to be a tough weekend. I decided to make some calls and see if I could find help and to make a long story short, I was lucky enough to call Thames and speak to Krista. After checking with audiologist Jean P. Tuneski, she told me they would loan me a charger. They never mentioned a fee or security deposit, just offered to loan me the charger. A condition he has had since birth. This is our 1st time with this Dr. And wished we had him years ago. Mom was on the fence about going....and she really needed help with her hearing issue. Doctor Lynn did the hearing tests and it turns out Mom's hearing had gotten worse. Over 70% hearing loss. She said Mom should have come over 20 years ago. Well, I wish she would have...but money was the defining reason. With mom's new insurance (Anthem BCBS Mediblue Dual Advantage Plan), Medicaid and Medicare my Mom owes nothing. They are taking care of the tests and also the cost of the hearing aids. The doctor did her best to make it as easy on my Mom as possible....and I really appreciated it. If you or a loved one has hearing issues I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. You really can't go wrong. If I could rate them 11 stars....I would have.
