There are not enough words to express how happy I am with my County Line Auto Body experience. Had a significant tree branch come down on my truck parked in the driveway during the storms a few weeks back. Since it went through the windshield in addition to the other body damage (Hood, roof, A pillar, mirror, fender), I couldn't drive it to them. They arranged towing, picked it up, brought it to the shop, arranged my rental car, and I was on my way while they worked. All I had to do was make 1 call to initiate the claim with insurance and they did all the administration from there. I never once had to deal with the insurance company, they did all the work.I got regular updates as the they went through the steps, so I knew exactly where everything stood. Turnaround was very quick, right on track with their initial estimate. I was blown away with how great it looked when I got it back. Since I originally had a ceramic paint treatment coating, once the body work was done they sent it through their Color Correctors shop to restore the coating so everything matched perfectly. I've not had my truck look this nice in a few years now- I've not been able to get it back to this level myself. 6 years old, looks effectively like new! So happy! And I didn't even have to arrange rental car return. Traded keys for mine and was on my way! They took the stress out of an otherwise stressful situation while restoring my truck to frankly better shape than it was in before the incident. read more

Life savers. I have an older car that has been through a lot. I admit, I'm not the best driver. I've run over curbs, bumped into curbs, ran over those cement blocks in parking lots you forget exist, etc. I've also been unlucky. Twice in a year someone smashed my bumper. The first was in a wawa parking lot and of course between the time I grabbed my coffee and returned to my car, someone swiped it and drove off. The second was just recently, where some person smashed into my car once again, the same spot...this time while I was working out at the gym. Waaa! As a graduate student who isn't made of money, County Line saved me. My bumper was popped out and a piece was dragging. You could hear it screech once I hit 30 mph. Maybe 35. I called Toyota but they told me they didn't deal with bumpers/body repairs, and referred me to County Line Auto. County Line Auto Body is fantastic. They looked at my car and asked me what was important... I said price and quality of repairs. Cosmetics I could care less. Rich looked at my car, gave me an estimate and how many hours of labor, and informed me they would do their best to repair it, but once they looked under the hood so to speak if I needed a new bumper, they would call me. I was satisfied with his assessment. His estimate turned out to be spot on and my car was ready in less than a day. I spent exactly the estimated price. (Very affordable for a graduate student/adjunct instructor). No, it's not pretty but I didn't ask for it to look pretty. I wanted my car fixed and not scammed into buying a new bumper if it was not necessary. The office workers at the front desk were equally exceptional. Friendly, professional. If you file a claim, they accept most major insurances. You can also just pay cash. County Line Auto Body turned a very stressful situation into a very calm and smooth process. I highly recommend County Line Auto Body. I'm not very familiar with cars and mechanics and admit I feel as though my limited knowledge had hurt me in the past. I respect County Line Auto for treating me like a person and acknowledging my situation, anxiety, and need for a reliable and honest repair. I had a very bad experience here. Our car went in with a given code and rough idle. It came out with a list of repairs but none of them addressed the original code or the rough idle. We brought the car back twice and it came back with the same exact problem it went in for. I paid over 800.00, they had the car for more than 7 full days and the issue remains unresolved. I would never bring a car here again nor would I ever recommend this shop, at least for a volkswagon. Perhaps they simply aren't trained to work on VW. read more

Terrible customer service!!! About a year ago I was in a accident which left my bumper and fender in need of repair. As my father was a loyal customer of county line I thought to bring my car there. Well, they did a bad job and when the car was fixed the paint did not match. The owner Ritchie at the ttime identifyed the mismatch and said he'd give us a good deal to fix it before the leasse had to go back. Well I went back to his shop to correct the mismatched job and other damages that needed to be done and I was met with nasty remarks. When I asked questions tO the gentleman at the front desk he was rude and curt to me and wasn't helpful at all. When another gentamen came out to give me a estimate I reeeplained what Ritchie and I had spoke about and he simply didn't care. After I left I went to another body shop and they charged me about half the price and indicated to me that county line was trying to take advantage of mee. Considering myself and my family were good customers we were treated with nothing but disrespect. Do not go here. read more

Had a hit and run accident and my insurance referred me to county line. The appointment for the estimate was on the 11/30 and once that was done they told me they didn't have a repair date available until after Dec 18th, so I scheduled and brought my car in on 12/19, only because I was told that it should take 4 days for the repairs to get done and was told the car would be ready by 12/22. All of a sudden it's 12/21 and I get a call stating that my car now won't be ready until 12/27, meanwhile the front desk lady who I spoke with has zero empathy, this was my third time talking to her (twice in the office) and she's very aggressive in her tone with me and very non empathetic. I honestly think the only reason they initially said four days and a lower quote (eventhough covered by the insurance) was just so I wouldn't go any place else, now 5 additional days were added on and over a $1000 more. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO COMMUTE OVER THE HOLIDAYS WITHOUT A VEHICLE, I work, I'm a mom and it's the holidays??? Had you guys given anything close to the resemblance of accuracy for the time it would take to fix the front side bumper of my car, I would have waited until after the holidays to bring my car in. read more

I wanted to write about an amazing experience I had at county line autobody shop in Howell/Jackson. I got into a fender bender in a parking lot and brought my car to county line autobody and spoke to Rich. He pointed out bad body work I had gotten previously from an unnamed body shop and explained how they 'skimped' on the quality of their work and how I could reopen a warranty claim against them if I wanted to get their work fixed. Aside from that he explained his whole process and when I picked up the car today it looked absolutely perfect! Only took two days to compete the repair. I highly recommend Rich and county line autobody as he is trustworthy and they do great work at a reasonable price. Someone hit my car in a parking lot, and County Line was a preferred partner of their insurance company. The entire process was efficient and painless from start-to-finish. Rich, one of the owners, personally checked out my vehicle when I dropped it off and told me if I had any issues at all during the process to call him personally. I like that level of involvement and accountability from an owner. Daily automated text message updates were nice, and when they determined the work would take longer than estimated they called me and then text me the new completion date. There is an Enterprise Rental Car satellite location on site and they work directly with them to coordinate everything. The Worst! This body shop did a horrible paint job on my truck. They were hired to paint 2 doors on the drivers side cab. When the job was completed several days after the estimated date, there were immediate problems discovered. The one that stood out the most was these swirl marks that look like graffiti in the sun light. There were also many new scratches all over the truck that were not their prior to this paint job. They tried to correct the problem by buffing the marks out, but they were unable to. The side of the truck looks horrible and will need to be fixed by another body shop. I urge anyone thinking about using this shop to go elsewhere. They are completely incompetent of body shop repairs. read more
